Practice Courts Saturday and Sunday
The PC MARC will have several practice courts and balls set aside all day Saturday and Sunday before the tournament begins at no cost to the players. There is usually no problem walking onto a court to practice. If you feel the need to Reserve a Court - there will be a $24/hr fee. To reserve a court, call the front desk at 435-615-5401.

Practice Courts Monday
The PC MARC opens at 6:00am on Monday, November 5. We will have 4 practice courts set asidefrom 6:00 am until 9:00am, when play begins. If you have a 9:00 or 10:30 or 11:00 start time, you should get your practice in before 9:00. We will have only 1 practice court available between 9:00 and 10:30. There will be practice courts open again from 12:00 until 1:30, when the next round of matches will be played. Doubles will start at 5:30 on Monday and again, there will be practice courts from 4:30 - 5:30pm for players to warmup before the doubles.

Tournament Check-In
Laurie will be at the PC MARC on Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00pm to check in players. Players are not required to check-in on Sunday. You may choose to check-in 30 minutes before your scheduled match time.

Player/Family Party
The player and family party will be at Fuego Restaurant on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. We will have directions to the restaurant at the club.

Preliminary Doubles Seedings
Since most of the players have partnered up for the doubles, I am going to go ahead and post preliminary doubles seedings. We are allowed to seed two teams for this division. Please give any feedback you have to me on this by Friday at noon. Doubles will start late in the afternoon on Monday. 1) Ward/Works 2)Kim/Johnson.

Play Begins...
Play will begin as early as 8:00am on Monday, November 5. Please fly in on Sunday so you are ready to play Monday first thing. Some players may have 2 singles matches on Monday, depending on draw size. Doubles signups will be open until noon on Monday.We are planning on beginning doubles play on Monday afternoon.

We have some players who have been added after the online deadline. Some of these guys are looking to play doubles, but need a partner. Be sure to look at the "Competitors" list to see ALL players in the tournament. The Applicants list is only people who have registered online..competitors are all players..

Brand New Facility!
The Park City Racquet Club was torn down in 2010 and our brand new $10 million facility is now OPEN! We have been renamed the Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center - or the PC MARC for short. Our new facility is absolutely stunning! We are a full fitness facility with 4 brand new indoor tennis courts,3 additional bubble courts, full service pro shop, running track, cardio, weights, hot tub, yoga and aerobics studios. Come play our tournament in an incredible setting for viewing!

Directions to the PC MARC
From the Salt Lake airport, follow directions onto I-80 EAST. The signs may say toward "Cheyenne". I-80 will merge with I-15 for a few miles and then split off again. Just keep following signs onto I-80 East. After you cross the Salt Lake valley, you will begin climbing Parley's Canyon. About 15 minutes up the canyon, you will take the Park City/ Kimball Junction exit. If you hit Hiway 40 - you have gone too far.
When you take the Kimball Junction exit, you will turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hiway 224. This is the main road into town. Stay on Hiway 224 for about 6 miles. After you pass the big white barn on your right, you will want the 2nd stop light. Turn left onto Holiday Ranch Loop drive. Follow Holiday Ranch Loop to the first stop sign and turn right onto Little Kate Road. The club is up on your left about 1/10 mile. Front desk phone number is 435-615-5400. Matches Per Day
Please be aware that both the singles and doubles events have consolation draws. The singles will be a full feed-in consolation and the doubles will be a first match losers consolation. This means that players could be playing 2 singles matches per day plus one doubles match if they choose to participate in both consolation draws.

Player Check-In
Laurie will be at the PC MARC on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00pm to meet players and check players in who would like to check in early. You are not required to check-in Sunday night, you may check in before your first match.

ITF Sanction - Grade A National Championship. We will continue to use all factors seeding. Foreign players can obtain a free USTA account for entry by going to https://www.usta.com/en/home/account/create-account.html, or register directly with the tournament director. This tournament is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a national championship. Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. This tournament is a USTA CAT 1 National Championship and fulfills the eligibility requirement for USTA CUP selection. The Coman tiebreak will be used.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, October 22, 2012 11:59:00 PM Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
