Player Responsiblities
It is the player's responsibility to know their 1st match and future match times and show up in a timely manner.
TOURNAMENT HOME PAGE WILL BE UPDATED FREQUENTLY DURING THE COURSE OF THE TOURNAMENT.
Please, report to Les Myers Park (LMP)) before 1st Round of Play.
After 1st round, you may go directly to your site of play.
ALL USTA rules will be enforced during the tournament.
Contact the tournament desk ASAP if you are having directional issues (704 806 0909).
Withdrawals and defaults MAY occur through out the weekend.
Lastly, please FAMILIARIZE yourself with CONSOLATION rules of play.
It can be confusing at times. Communication with tournament director is key, so that calmer heads prevail during the tournament.

Exit 60 Dale Earnhardt is the closest and most direct exit to Les Myers Park.
Exit 49 is the Concord Mills exit that also is home to several hotels

Doubles will be played Saturday afternoon FOLLOWING singles play.

We will play 8 Game Pro-sets, Regular Deuce Scoring

Coed 8s Red Ball
We plan to play our Co-ed 8 Diviion Saturday after 12pm.
As you know this plan could change based on weather and/or numbers for our tournament.
The Co-Ed 8s division will use the RED ball on the 36ft court.

BG 10s Orange Ball
The BG10s division will use the ORANGE ball on the 60ft court.
The plan is to play BG10s singles and doubles on Saturday.
The Boys and Girls will play 4 game sets with Deuce Scoring.
The girls lost 2 players so it is now a Round Robin, please confirm your match times

1st Match Check In
Players & Parents, please stop and checkin a MINIMUM of 30 minutes before your 1st match. Here you will be given Driving Directions, T-Shirt, Goody Bag and more ... This will be the only time you need to checkin at Les Myers Park. You may stop in as early as Friday after 5pm. You may go directly to your site of play during the rest of the tournament.

Scoring Format
A. SCORING METHODS ACCEPTED FOR RANKING IN NC
LISTED BELOW ARE THE ONLY FORMATS FOR SCORING ACCEPTED FOR RANKING IN
NC. FOR TOURNAMENTS THAT FAIL TO COMPLY, THE REFEREE AND THE TOURNAMENT
ARE SUBJECT TO SUSPENSION.
FOR PLAYERS WHO COMPETE IN EVENTS/MATCHES THAT FAIL TO MEET THESE
REQUIREMENTS THOSE PLAYERS WILL NOT HAVE THOSE EVENTS/MATCHES INCLUDED
IN THEIR RANKING.
THESE ARE THE ONLY SCORING FORMATS ACCEPTED FOR NC RANKING FOR JUNIORS
4. 8 game pro sets (with set tiebreak played at 8 games all) may be
used for DOUBLES ONLY. IT IS PROHIBITED IN SINGLES.
5. No-Ad Scoring will be used in Consolation Matches with a 10-pnt tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set.
6. L1, L2, L-3, L-4, L-5 may use short set scoring ONLY when
granted specific permission on a case by case basis by the NCTA in the
event of inclement weather.
Use short sets- first to 4 games by 2. Two
out of three tiebreak sets. 7 point, set tiebreak at 4-4. Match Tiebreak
(10 point tiebreak) in lieu of the third set.

Coach David Lash Sportsmanship Award
One Female and One Male Player will be receive the Coach David Lash Sportsmanship Award.
This award will be voted on by players, parents and referees.
There will be a drop box you may place your nomination and reason for nomination at the tournament desk during the course of the tournament.
The award will be presented on Sunday afternoon as long as player is still available for presentation.

Right out of Les Myers Park.
Travel (.1) Right Onto Hwy 3.
Travel 2 miles (In 1.5 miles U will cross Union Street). Continue on HWY 3. Merge Left onto HWY 601. Travel (.1) miles. Exit right onto HWY 49.
If you cross over HWY 49, then you miss the turn to the right onto HWY 49 South
Travel 2 miles CCCHS tennis courts on the left.

This tournament will be using in all matches Wilson US Open Extra Duty balls.

FRIDAY NIGHT PLAY
Some draws will demand Friday Night Play.
Matches may be scheduled as early as 5:00pm.
If there are issues in playing Friday Evening, please email chad@amptennis.com before signing up online.
Avoidances will be considered and allowed BASED on draw size. Simply, stated, no promises until entry deadline ends.
