SILENT AUCTION TO BENEFIT MISSISSIPPI’S SOU. JUNIOR CUP TEAM
The Mississippi Junior Tennis Counsel is hosting a Silent Auction at RTC during this tournament to raise money for Mississippi’s Southern Junior Cup teams. The Southern Junior Cup is the USTA Southern Region’s premier team event featuring the top 3 boys and girls from each state in each age division (a total of 24 kids from each state) competing to determine which Southern state has the best junior tennis players. Funds raised at the Silent Auction will help offset our players’ travel costs, provide our players with Team Mississippi gear, and provide pre-tournament training opportunities for our players and coaches. These incentives will encourage Mississippi’s top juniors to participate and allow Mississippi to field the most competitive teams possible. MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
Medical Release forms must be completed and signed by the PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN and the player. Please do not send your child without this form completed. To facilitate check-in, we request that you have this form ready to turn in when checking in.

BIRTH CERTIFICATE/PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US citizenship. Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not. A file of those with proof on file is found at

REGISTRATION
Prior to your first match you must register for the tournament at Ridgeland Tennis Centerat least 30 minutes before your first match. If you are playing at a site other than Ridgeland, you must allow enough time to be at your site 30 mintues before the match time. For matches after you have checked in for the tournament at Ridgeland, you may report directly to your site 30 minutes before the match time.

Lunch will be served to the players by Burgers & Blues on Saturday.
Lunches will also be available for purchase by parents, coaches and supporters.

This is a LEVEL1 Mississippi tournament and a LEVEL 3 Southern tournament.

SEEDING
Seedings will be based on the most recent Southern Standings immediately following the entry deadline.

WITHDRAWALS
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do it online. Click on registration, then withdraw. You will get a confirmation number- KEEP THIS NUMBER- Without the confirmation number, you will not have proof that you withdrew. All withdrawals after entries close must be sent by email to ridgelandtennis@bellsouth.net

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
