Due to a seeded players withdrawing, the B18 and B16 draws have some changes. Please double check your match time!

ATTENTION TOURNAMENT PLAYERS/PARENTS
|
Tournament directors do not have access to phone numbers and email addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player re-enters their contact information at time of event registration. This means that if a player does not enter their phone and email information each time they register for a tournament, the tournament director will not be able contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, byes, rain delays, etc. Your cooperation will ensure that tournaments can continue to communicate necessary information to you. NEW DIVISION FOR 2012: 8 & UNDER CO-ED Singles
We will be offering 8U singles this year! Format is 36' court/red ball. Two out of three 7 point sets.
The 8 and under age group will play modified scoring (two out of three 7 points sets, sudden death at 6-6) on 36’ courts with red low compression balls. Racquets must be 21-23.”

Match Formats
12s - 18s: Best 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring. The 7 pt tie breaker will be used in all sets tied 6 – 6.
10s: 2 Short Sets, (first to 4 and win by 2, or tiebreak at 4 all), 3rd Set if needed 7 point tiebreak. Regular scoring.

Draw
The draw will be held on Friday, November 2nd, 10:00am, at Scotttsdale Ranch Park.
It will be posted onlline, after it has been scheduled, either Novemberr 3rd or 4th.

Southwest Section Dress Code
All players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire. Cut off shorts, bare midriffs, compression shorts & tights (alone), or any other attire that is simply recreational and not tennis oriented is NOT acceptable!

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, October 30, 2012 11:59:00 PM Arizona Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
