DRAWS ARE OFFICIAL!
Good luck in the tournament! Over 1,450 entries! Now that the draws are out if you have a scheduling request you must follow the guidelines outlined below in the Conflict Request section. You may notice that some semifinals and finals are not scheduled yet. They will be completed as the week progresses. Those matches will be on the final Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the tournament.
|
Conflict Requests – Scheduling requests AFTER Friday, Sept 2nd:
Due to the tremendous number of entries and difficulty in altering the tournament schedule with such a large event, match time conflict requests are rarely accommodated. If you still choose to submit a formal request, there is a $5 application fee, whether the request is granted or not. This fee is donated to the “Tennis for Kids” Youth Scholarship Fund. The fee is designed to discourage requests after the draw has been made. To submit a request, please: 1) go to http://www.coloradostateopen.com, 2) click on 'Conflict Request' link, 3) read Colorado State Open match policies and guidelines, 4) click on form link, 5) fill out the form and submit.
|
Avoidance Requests – Scheduling requests BEFORE Friday, Sept 2nd:
Avoidance requests may be submitted via email to the Scheduling Request Referee at coloradostateopen@gmail.com by Friday, Sept 2nd to be considered when making the draw. Requests are never guaranteed, but match time avoidances are generally easier to accommodate than match time conflict requests after the draws are made.
