• Please limit your warmups in all matches to five minutes. The racket toss should precede the warmup. Two tennis balls will be given to players at the start of all matches two new balls will be issued for all matches that require a full 3rd set (main draw).

• All main draw singles matches will be 2-out-of-3-set with regular ad scoring 2 minute break between 1st and 2nd set. New balls will be issued for 3rd set 10 minute break between 2nd and 3rd set. First Match Loser Consolation format is used for all singles draws.

• All consolation draw singles matches will be 2-out-of-3-set with regular ad scoring. 10-pt tiebreaker will be used in lieu of 3rd set. Mandatory 3 minute break between before beginning match tiebreaker. No new balls will be issued for 3rd set tiebreaker.

• WHEN THE HEAT INDEX IS IN EFFECT: If the heat index (humidity + temperature) is 100 degrees or higher, playing format changes to 2-out-of-3-sets with a deciding 10 pt. match tiebreaker. In this case, the players WILL NOT receive the 10 minute break in between sets. The rule must be applied at the start of the round, for the entire round.

• TIMES AND PLAYING LOCATIONS ON THE DRAW SHEETS PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET SHOULD BE GENERALLY ACCURATE BUT ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BECAUSE OF CIRCUMSTANCES SUCH AS LATE WITHDRAWALS AND BAD WEATHER. OFFICIAL TIMES AND LOCATIONS OF ALL MAIN DRAW AND CONSOLATION MATCHES WILL BE POSTED AT TYLER TENNIS AND SWIM.

• First and second place as well as consolation winners in all events will receive awards.

• Each player will receive one free tournament towel upon first match check-in. Additional towels may be purchased at the Tyler Tennis & Swim Club during the event. Also, tournament players and family are invited to use our swimming pool at TTSC for a $7 guest fee.

• Cellular phones and audible pagers are not permitted on the court unless they are turned off.

• The USTA’s Point Penalty System will be strictly enforced and foot faults will be called without warning.
