FIRST ROUND LOSERS CONSOLATION
FRLC - If a player has a BYE in the first round, then there will be no consolation match. Consolation rounds are for those that don't have a BYE and looses the first round.

ENTERING CONTACT INFORMATION
When registering for a tournament, it is important that you enter your current email address and phone number. If you do not enter this information during the registration process, the tournament director will not be able to contact you when there are changes to a tournament that might affect you. If you do not enter this information and the tournament director cannot contact you, you may show up for a tournament at the wrong time and get coded as a No Show Default, or even show up for a match that was rescheduled or cancelled. PLEASE DON'T SKIP THIS PROCESS.

TOURNAMENT ADDRESS, DESK & PARKING
Tournament address is 740 Central Ave, (between Page St & 8th St) Alameda, CA 94501, but tennis facility is on 8th street. Tournament desk is located at the tennis facility. There are meter parking at the tennis facility and also more parking available on the streets. Please use Google map to look up for Washington Park tennis courts.

MATCH TIMES & FORMAT
When you are at the tournament, please check in 15 minutes before your scheduled match and be ready to play. There will be a First Round Losers Consolation format for all Singles and Single Elimination format for Doubles. The match format for Singles will be 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring, and a match super tiebreak to 10 point for the 3rd set. 3rd and 4th place playoff match will be applied for this tournament. Match format for Doubles will be 8 game pro-set. ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED AT WASHINGTON PARK TENNIS COURTS. Alternate sites will only be used if needed Krusi Park, Alameda.

Players, please wear appropriate tennis attire for your match. That means appropriate shirt, short, and shoes non marking sole.

TOURNAMENT & SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS
Tournament awards will be presented to players who finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in each age division for Single , and 1st and 2nd for Doubles. Sportsmanship Awards will also be awarded to those who show good sportsmanship on and off the court.

There are lots of restaurants and fast food restaurants close by the tennis facility. American, Chinese, Janpanese, Vietamese, Thai, Subway, MacDonald, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell, and Little Ceasers Pizza etc...

MATCH FORMAT FOR MAIN DRAWS AND CONSOLATION DRAWS
MAIN DRAW will all play 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring, with a match tiebreak to 10 point in lieu of 3rd set. CONSOLATION DRAW will all play a pro-set to 8 games, with regular scoring. THERE WILL BE A 3RD/4TH PLAYOFF MATCH FOR ALL SEMIFINALS MATCHES.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 11, 2011 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
