TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
TUESDAY - JULY 26th - Player Registration 2:00-3:30 PM, Coaches Meeting 2:15-3:30 PM, Parents Seminar 2:30-3:30 PM, MANDATORY PLAYER ORIENTATION AND SEMINAR 3:45-5:00 PM, Team Meeting and Pictures 5:00-6:00 PM. All of these activities will take place at the University Park Marriott, see note on hotels below for address. WEDNESDAY THRU SATURDAY - Practice starts at 7:00 AM and matches start at 8:00 AM. SATURDAY - JULY 30th - Player Party and Sportsmanship Awards Ceremony - ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY - 7:00-9:00 PM. Players and Coaches are free, Parents and others who want to attend will need to purchase a ticket at the tournament desk NO LATER than Thursday afternoon when the last match is completed. SUNDAY - JULY 31st - Last day of play - DEPARTURE FLIGHTS NO EARLIER THAN 4:00 PM!!!

SEMINARS
There will be two Seminars scheduled on Tuesday, July 26th. One for parents and the other for all players. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!

MATCH FORMAT
Round Robin Format. Each Boy's or Girl's team will have 6 players. Boy's and Girl's Teams will be combined. There will be two flights of six teams of combined Boy's and Girl's teams. Singles matches will be best of 3 tie-break sets. Doubles matches will be 8 game Pro Sets with a 7 Point Tiebreak at 8 games all. Singles matches will count one point each. Doubles matches will count one point each. Each mixed doubles match will count one point for the team score but not for ranking. Each team match consists of 18 points (12 singles plus 6 doubles). In the case of a 9-9 tie, the team that won the majority of the doubles matches will be declared the winner of the team match. In the case of a total tie (no majority winner of the doubles) the Section Coach will designate one boy and one girl to play a mixed doubles "Super Match Tie-Break" to determine the team match winner. Defaults, walkovers, withdrawals, and retirements count as losses. All singles and doubles matches MUST BE PLAYED TO COMPLETION.

OFFICIATING
Play will be subject to the rules of the USTA. The USTA Point Penalty System will be enforced throughout the tournament. NO UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT WILL BE TOLERATED. A USTA certified Referee and certified Umpires will be present at all playing locations.

DRESS CODE
Proper tennis attire is required. Best judgment is appreciated. Questionable attire is subject to the Site Director's discretion. Casual wear for evening activities is appropriate.

DEPARTURE TIME
TO ALLOW TIME TO GET TO THE AIRPORT, PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR DEPARTURE FLIGHT FOR 4:00 PM OR LATER!!! The last matches on Sunday are scheduled to start at 1:00 PM. It will take you approximately 25 minutes to get to the airport, plus add AT LEAST one hour to go through check-in and SECURITY.

PLAYER FEES
In case of inclement weather - allowance for indoor court time must be made. Rates are per match - $8 per player in Singles, $5 per player in Doubles. About $65 should cover the week if it rains every day. July is our driest time of the year - it has not rained during this tournament for the past 6 years. The Coaches will be collecting $5.00 from each player to cover the costs of Sectional Team pictures.
