OPEN DIVISION @ CMTA (1216 S Wasatch Dr.) and OLYMPUS HILLS-Olymp (4500 S 3131 E (Stratton Ave) - come 15 minutes early to check in at CMTA.....Site coordinator: Bryan (after 3:30pm-8pm) - 801-582-3436 (o) or 801-722-5217.....(Olympus Hills Park-lighted courts- (7 minutes from CMTA) is located right off the 4500 S exit on I-215 S. Literally, right off the exit to the west, it's your first right (3080E). The turn right again (4345 S)The tennis courts are at the far NORTH end of the park)

Single elimination. 2 out of 3 set with a 10 POINT TIE-BREAKER FOR THE THIRD SET. For the third set, it is a tie breaker. Servers will be alternate (the same way as in a 12 point tie breaker). Play up to 10 points and win by 2.

Make arrangement if it is necessary. If it will be a wet afternoon and you don't want to wait for rain delay, then plan ahead, beat the crown and schedule an indoor court. We would not hold a tournament today (5/11) so that all players can finish their Monday (5/10) matches. All Monday matches have to turn in their scores by 5/11 (or by your next round match). Thank you for your patience in dealing with RAIN ISSUE.

Some Players do not have any contact info when signing up for this tournament. We can not contact you in case of emergency. Please write down your cell phone number and email when checking in at tournament desk. It will help the tournament director and Utah Tennis to contact you in a timely manner. Thank you.

When viewing the draw, for example B10 Singles, the first line will be Open division at CMTA (with seeded players) and the second will be Challenger at Glendale (no seeded players).

There will be NO RESCHEDULING of any sanctioned matches in this tournament except in extreme circumstances beyond the control of the players and then only with prior approval of the Tournament Director. Players rescheduling without permission will be DEFAULTED. All costs of rescheduling are the responsibility of the initiator, including: court fees, guest fees, new balls & umpires. In case of rain delay, both parties should share the cost.

A challenger is a novice player who has not won an open tournament. A junior may continue to participate in a challenger event, in their age appropriate division, until they have won no more than two (2) Challenger tournaments. After two (2) Challenger tournament wins, a junior is no longer eligible for a challenger event until they age up. A player may not play out of his/her age division in a challenger event until the month in which the junior ages up. Challenger events do not earn Points Per Round.
