WWTA- Summer Sizzle Adult Tournament

All matches will be played at The Cary Tennis Center

The scoring for singles and doubles will be best two-out-of three tiebreak sets (7 point tiebreaker) with a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of the the third set. All singles and doubles events will be first match loser consolation (FMLC). Events with less than 3 entries will be cancelled, and events can be combined to create an event in lieu of cancelling the event. Depending on the number of entries, a round robin format can be used.

All Players will be required to sign a Medical Waiver upon check in for their first match at the Tournament Desk since the Cary Tennis Park is a publically operated facility.

Some matches will be scheduled to play on Friday starting no earlier than 5pm. Matches which will be scheduled to play on Friday will be determined by the event draw size which will be known after entries close.

Registration Restrictions Tournament registration will be limited to no more than two events. Please register only in the events that you are eligible.

From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park:
From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road. Go 0.9 miles.
Turn left onto Carpenter-Upchurch Road. Go 0.1 miles.
Turn right onto Louis Stevens Drive. Go 0.8 miles.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.

From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park:
On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles.
Turn right onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles.
Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles.
Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham. Continue with the set of directions above labeled "From southeast of Raleigh", starting at step 1. (Exit #16 is in the same area as exit #301 in those directions.)

Please be sure to allow extra time (15 min. minimum) on the road to The Cary Tennis Park, because there are several roads in the area that are under construction and have detours. Directions above indicates routes that can be used to avoid detours.

Robert V. Godbold Park (6 cts) - 2050 NW Maynard Rd. 1. Turn right onto Louis Stevens Dr. Go 0.8 miles. 2. Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd. Go 0.3 miles. 3. Turn left onto High House Rd. Go 3 miles. 4. Turn left onto Maynard Rd. Go 2 miles. 5. Turn right into Robert Godbold Park.

Important Note: PARKING on Louis Stephens Drive is prohibited. Violating vehicles may be cited and/or towed. Overflow parking is available at the Green Hope Elementary School Parking Lot directly across the street (Louis Stephens) from the Cary Tennis Park, plus there is an additional parking area at the North End of the tennis facility which is specifically designated as an overflow parking lot for the tennis park.

Driving Directions: Take I-40 East to exit 293 A, Hwy US 1 South and Hwy 64 West. Take this until exit 98B (64 West). At second stop light turn left on Edinburgh Drive South. The Courtyard is on the right.

Driving Directions: Take I-40 East to exit 293 A, Hwy US 1 South and Hwy 64 West. Follow approx. 5 miles to exit 98A Tryon Rd. Turn right at first traffic light onto Regency Parkway, Hotel 1/4 mile on the left.
