Tournament Desk Phone Number
The tournament desk phone number is 435-655-5590. This is Laurie's cell phone. When you come to the club, you will NOT go in the front entrance anymore. Go to the left of the trailer and come in through the open gates. The tournament desk will be set up on the patio aread.

|
RAIN...
It could be raining across the street from the club, and not raining here. Please assume that play is occurring and either call 655-5590 with questions, or just show up. The courts can dry very quickly and rain delays should be short if they occur...

Road Construction/Traffic
This weekend, there will be MUCH traffic coming into Park City due to the Arts Festival. Combine that with a ton of road construction and you have an extra 15 minutes of travel time to the club. Please leave early to get here!

DRAWS
Singles Draws are posted. Inadvertently, a "practice" draw may have been online at some point. That was NOT the real draw! Compass Draws are confusing, so please look only at your first match - which is in the EAST draw. The tournament director will tell you when each match occurs after that.
Doubles will start Friday evening with 1 round Friday night. You have until 11am on Friday to tell me if you want to play doubles or not. I will help you partner with someone if you would like to play and do not have a partner. Doubles draw will be done around 2pm on Friday. Assume you play Friday evening if you are entering doubles (5:30 for boys, 6:30pm for girls).

|
Sites
Matches will take place at the Park City Racquet Club & City Park. Check-in for all matches will be at the Racquet Club, but some matches will play at City Park on Friday. Come to the Racquet Club and we will let you know if your match is moving to City Park.

Construction at the Park City Racquet Club
The Park City Racquet Club will be under construction while this tournament is occurring. The indoor tennis courts will no longer exist....so hope for great weather! The pools and all outdoor courts will be available for players and families, but the restaurant and all the indoor fitness equipment will be gone.

Doubles
If you are interested in playing doubles, but don't have a partner, I am happy to pair you with someone. Please send me an e-mail if you would like me to do this for you. Doubles is First Match Loser's Consolation so that everyone will get at least 2 matches. Matches will be 8 game pro-sets.

Phone Numbers and E-mail addresses
Please make sure the usta has your correct phone and e-mail information. I communicate much information via e-mails and you won't get it if you haven't given the usta the info!

Compass Draw
For those that have not played a Compass Draw tournament....every player will be guaranteed at least 4 singles matches. This means that most players will have 2 matches per day. Doubles will be First match Loser's Consolation so that everyone is guaranteed at least 2 matches. Compass draws work perfectly if we have 16 or 32 players. If we have a different amount (say 22 or 26), the tournament director will adjust the draw to make sure everyone still gets 4 matches.

Directions to the Park City Racquet Club
From the Salt Lake Airport, follow directions toward I-80 EAST. Sometimes it will say toward "Cheyenne". You will merge with I-15 for a few miles, but just keep following the I-80 East signs. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and you are now on Hiway 224 - the main road into town. Follow this for approximately 5 miles. You will see a large a white barn on your RIGHT. After the barn, you will want the 2nd stop light. Turn left here onto Holiday Ranch Loop Drive. (The Peaks Hotel is on this corner). Follow Holiday Ranch Loop for approximately 1/4 mile to a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Little Kate Road. The club is up a few hundred yards on your left. Welcome!
