At 5:30 pm today, Tuesday, come to Bitsy Grant Tennis Center to see some great tennis. The finals of the Father/Son and the 3/4 playoff are scheduled at 5:30 pm. Don't miss it! The Dashiells will be playing the Makrenkos in the finals and the Jacobsons will be playing the Lacondros in the 3/4 playoff.

Please let the referee or tournament director know if you do not plan to play in the 3-4 playoff match if you lost in the semifinals. The WOS, M45S, M75S and M50D all have 3-4 playoff matches scheduled for Monday. If I don't hear from you I will assume that you plan on playing the match. Out of consideration for your opponents please let me know if you will not be playing. Thanx.

Out of consideration for your opponent you need to arrive promptly for your match. You should plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled match time. If you are late you may be penalized one, two, or three games and loss of toss or even defaulted. Being caught in traffic is not a reasonable excuse for being late. Atlanta is known for its heavy traffic and congested roads. Thank you for you cooperation.

TENTATIVE Sunday match times have been published. All time for Sunday are tentative until the previous match has been completed.

Please note that I have had to make a change in the time of Sunday's match between the winner of Caldwell/Thomson - Elliot McElheney because I had scheduled the match when there was a conflict with another Kirk match. The time is now 4:00 pm. Sorry for any inconvience.

Please note that one M75D match will be played Saturday, with three being played on Sunday and two on Monday due to time constraints of osme of the players.

I had failed to indicate the #1 seed in the M50D. Fortunately the team was placed in the #2 seed spot so I was able to swap the #2 seed and #1 seed to make the draw correct. The match time for lines 7-8 changed. The #1 seed received a bye. Due to a family emergency there will also be chanage in partnership for Terry McCain. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We will only play the first round of the Father/Son Doubles. Because some players could end up playing four matches we will only play one round of Father/Son Doubles on Saturday.

Both Doubles and Singles draws with Saturday Schedule times have been posted. Also, you can look at the Future Match Time report to find your first match time.

All Seedings have been published for singles and doubles. All events with 3 or 4 players will play a round robin so no seeds were selected for those. Thanks to all who provided feedback.

Assuming the Extreme Heat continues all matches will be played with a 10 point Tiebreak in lieu of a third set.

The Preliminary Seedings have been determined by using the All Factors Method. The All Factors Method of seeding is based on the players’ chances of winning the tournament All reasonably available information, including ranking lists, standing lists, recent records, types of surface, and particularly head-to-head encounters have been considered. If you have any questions or comments, please email the Tournament Director or Tournament Referee. Events with 3 or 4 players entered will olay a Round Robin. Doubles signup has been extended until 2 pm Tuesday, August 3. Several events have none or just one entry. We would like to have at least two entries so there can be a match. Thanx.

When you register for the tournament you are making yourself available to play your match (es) at any time during the sanction period. If there is some period of time that you cannot play and we know about it, we will attempt to schedule your match other than at that time but we may be unable to do so. If we can't accommodate the change, then you will be scheduled to play at that time. Please sure the time you can't play is for a significant reason and not just for convenience. In case of Intense Heat, all Matches may play a 10 point Superbreaker in lieu of a third set at the discretion of the tournament committee.
A decision will be made before play begins Saturday morning.
