WELCOME:
The Sumter Tennis Association welcomes our tennis friends to the 2010 Palmetto Adult Classic, sponsored by CAROLINA BROACH & MACHINE, and held at the Palmetto Tennis Center, one of the finest tennis facilities in our state. We are pleased to offer both adult and senior events.

PLAYERS AMENITIES:
All players will receive a DRY-FIT shirt. Be sure to indicate your size now when you register on Tennislink. This is a new feature that they have added. Excellent doorprizes will be given away.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
CAROLINA BROACH AND MACHINE will be our main sponsor for the tournament. For lunch on Saturday they will provide various flavors of chicken wings, pasta, and a few other delicious treats for all players. We will also provide Pizza on Friday night for those who will be playing then. On Saturday morning, CHICK-FIL-A will offer breakfast items for all players at the tournament site including chicken biscuits and coffee. Gatorarade, fruit and snacks will be provided for players throughout the tournament, Friday-Sunday. Cold water will be available on ALL courts.

MATCH PLAY:
We will now use a 10 POINT TIE-BREAK in lieu of 3rd sets for ALL matches, main draw and consolation matches. USTA rules will be observed. Players should check-in 30 MINUTES prior to their first match. Check-in for all matches will be at the Tournament Desk located in the PTC pro shop. After checking in, players must remain near the check-in area and be readily available for court assignments. All matches will be played at the Palmetto Tennis Center on hard courts. Players entering two events should expect to play mulitiple matches with minimum rest in between. ALL PLAYERS SHOULD RETURN TO THE TOURNAMENT DESK AFTER EACH MATCH TO CONFIRM MATCH SCHEDULE.

CONSOLATION:
A First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC) will be offered. You must inform the Tournament Desk after losing your first match if you DO NOT want to participate in the consolation match. Consolation matches may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 20, 2010 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
