First Match Times

First Match Times

Matches will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, June 11. If you have a time conflict, please e-mail the details, along with contact information, prior to the deadline. We will make every effort to accommodate players if possible. First match times will be available on-line at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 9th. Draws will be published on-line Thursday, June 10th.

Courts

If your match has a "C" beside the scheduled time, that indicates that your match is scheduled for a clay court. If it has an "H" your match is scheduled to be played on a hard court. This does not designate the location of your match. Hard court matches will be played at Rawls Creek Racquet Club and Irmo High School. Check-on for all matches will be at Rawls Creek.

Consolation

A First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC) will be offered in singles and doubles (not mixed). You must inform the tournament desk after losing your first match if you want to participate in the consolation event.

Match Scoring

All matches will play a 10 point Match tie break forthe 3rd set. No-ad and/or match tie-break scoring may be implemented in case of inclement weather.

Other Important Information

Draw will be made on Monday. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after the draw has been made. * USTA Rules will be observed. Point penalty system will be used. * Warm-up is limited to 5 minutes. * The tournament referee will be the judge in all matters related to matches. * Referee reserves the right to change court surfaces in order to facilitate continuous play. * Players should register 1/2 hour prior to matches. * Check-in for all matches will be at Rawls Creek pro shop. If your match is sent to an alternate site, directions will be available at court assignment. * The Wilson US Open ball will be used for play.
