Notes
Parking...This is an important issue: Please do not come to the front of the museum. Instead, travel on Memorial Blvd - located adjacent to Belluvue. Park on Memorial right next to the 3 indoor courts and the side areas on Memorial. This will help as there would be confusion.

All events are “Designated” for ranking purposes.

The 55, 65, 75, 80, and 85 events are offered for men only.

Due to the possibility of rain, we would like to get as many matches played as possible on Thursday. We will not start the 50's & 55's until Friday. If we have rain during the tournament, we may need to play matches on hard court surfaces.

The notes below will be updated as information becomes available – please check back!

All entrants will receive “goody” bag with prizes and Slams booklet.

Players will be provided free Hall of Fame Museum passes with a discount offered for non-player family and friends.

Party with food will be held on Friday at 6PM on the East Porch.

Recommended hotels with player discounts (see http://www.neseniortennis.org/Slams/TennisHallofFame1.jpg). Note that rooms will be released to the public on July 21 so make reservations early!).

Parking is tight near the courts. We are working on helping the players TBD.

Practice courts are available for registered players at a discounted rate of $50/hour for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before the tournament.

Consolation format will be regular scoring except a 10-Point Match Tiebreak will be used in lieu of a full 3rd set. For very bad weather, other abbreviated formats may be used and severe weather could lead to cancellation of the consolation. Three indoor courts are available as backup.

All singles matches will use single sticks.

There will be playoffs for 3rd and 4th places, depending on the size of the draw.

Number of entries will be limited to make sure the courts are not overloaded. The order of selection for unranked players is at the discretion of the tournament director. If there are insufficient registrants in any event, registrants may be requested to play in a different division.

Prizes for winners and finalists will be Slam medallions (gold & silver) modeled on national gold/silver balls. Consolation winners will receive other prizes.

Player Selection Type
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
