Due to long match times and continued rain we will only play one round of doubles this evening. We have rescheduled times as of 3:30 p.m. today. Please check for you new doubles match time for today.

All 12:30 Consolation matches will be played at 3:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Tennis Center. All 1:00 p.m. Consolation Matches will be played at 4:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Tennis Center. No other singles matches will be scheduled for today. We will play 2 rounds of doubles today. Match times for doubles have changed. Please check the website for your new time or come to the Schwartz Tennis Center. Some doubles matches will begin at 4:00 p.m. today.

MAIN DRAW SINGLES: All main draw singles matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a 5 minute warm up prior to the start of play. If players split sets we will play a full 3rd set A 10 minute break will be used between the 2nd and 3rd sets. New balls will be provided for the 3rd Set. A 7- point Tiebreak will be used at 6 games all in all sets. CONSOLATION SINGLES: All consolation singles matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a 5 minute warm up prior to the start of play. If players split sets we will use a 10-point Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Players will not receive new balls for the 10-point Tiebreak. A 7-point Tiebreak will be used at 6 games all in the first 2 sets. DOUBLES: All doubles matches will use an 8-game pro set format with a 5 minute warm up prior to the start of play. A 7-point Tiebreak will be used at 8 games all.

Seeding for the tournament will be posted on Monday, July 27 after 6 p.m.

Draws will be posted on Saturday, August 1, at 4:00 p.m.

All participants will begin play on Monday, August 3. We will start matches as early as 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3. We understand many of the participants are coming here from other events, however to finish all of the rounds we must start play early on Monday. Please check you start time on Saturday, August 1, as many times have changed due to withdrawals and seeding changes.

Check in for the tournament will be Sunday, August 2, from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. If you are traveling and cannot make the check in time, please email jmbraden@purdue.edu or call 765-494-3600 by Saturday, August 1. If you do not come to the Sunday check in, you must arrive 1 hour prior to your match time for check in at the Schwartz Tennis Center. You may be playing at a different site, but all check in is at the Schwartz Tennis Center prior to your first match.

From Indianapolis: Take I-65 north to St Rd. 43 South (Exit 178), turn left off of the exit. Follow to St. Rd. 26 West (State Street) and turn right at the McDonald's. Follow to (St. Rd. 526/Airport) and turn right, this turns into McCormick Road. The Schwartz Tennis Center is about one mile ahead on the left, just before the stop sign at Cherry Lane. From North: Take I-65 south to St. Rd 25 (Exit 175). Turn right off of the exit. Follow to Hwy 52, turn right. Continue into West Lafayette. Turn left at Yeager Road. Follow signs to Purdue. Turn right on Cherry Lane, follow to McCormick Rd (526). Turn left onto McCormick, the Schwartz Tennis Center will be on your right about 1/8th mile. From South/I-74: Take St Rd. 231 north toward Lafayette/West Lafayette to St. Rd. 26 (State Street). Turn left. Follow to St. Rd 526/Airport, and turn right, this turns into McCormick Rd. The Schwartz Tennis Center is about one mile ahead on the left, just before the stop sign at Cherry Lane.

FROM SCHWARTZ TENNIS CENTER: Turn right out of the driveway onto McCormick Rd. Continue to State St (St. Rd 26) and turn left at the traffic light. Continue through campus, go over the bridge into Lafayette. Continue on St. Rd 26, up the hill. Turn Right on Main St., and then turn right onto 18th St. Take 18th St. to State Street and take to Earl Ave. Turn right onto Earl Ave., go past the football stadium and turn left onto Gregory Ave. The tennis courts and parking will be on your right. Continue on St. Rd. 38 to Earl Ave. Turn left onto Earl Ave. and continue past the football stadium. Turn left onto Gregory Ave. The tennis courts and parking will be on your right. FROM THE SCHWARTZ TENNIS CENTER: Turn right out of the driveway onto McCormick Rd. Take your first left, on Stadium Drive. Go to the top of the hill and turn right just past the baseball field (sign posted Aquatic Center). Turn right onto the driveway and continue down the hill to the parking lot. The tennis courts are next to the Aquatics Center.

The tournament will not be providing water, sports drinks, or snack items during the event. Please be sure to bring plenty of water to your matches. The Schwartz Tennis Center does have an ice machine and can be used by the players to put in their water bottles. We ask that you do not use the ice to fill coolers. Please provide your own ice for coolers.

A list of warm up courts will be provided at check in. There are limited courts at the Schwartz Tennis Center . Indoor courts are available to be reserved, pre-paid, at $12.00 per hour. The Schwartz Tennis Center will open at 7:00 a.m. each morning, 6:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3. The Co-Rec Varsity Courts are available for warm up. Jefferson High School courts are limited. Boy's high school practice will take most of the courts from 8 - 10 a.m. and 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., however the coach will allow girls to practice if courts are available. The courts will be locked before 8 a.m. and after 7:30 p.m.

Stringing will be available at the Schwartz Tennis Center. There is a $15.00 per racquet charge if players have their own string. String types and cost vary. Stringing will be done starting at 6:00 p.m. each evening and will be ready for pick up by the next morning or later that evening. We will be available to string racquets at check in on Sunday evening.
