The Dubuque
Golf and Country Club will be the "HOME" check in site for the
Mississippi Valley Open!
 
From the DGCC
to Eagle Point Park:
PARKING AT EAGLE POINT
PARK - If you use the SOUTH entrance, it will
cost
you $1.00 to enter the park.
When you pay
your dollar you will receive a receipt that will let you
re-enter the park one time (same date).
There is NO
charge to park if you enter through the NORTH entrance. Park
for free on the outside of the
park and then walk into the park and to the tennis courts.
 
Turn RIGHT on
Grandview from
the DGCC. Travel "south" on Grandview, cross
the overpass and
turn left on to 151
N. exit to the freeway through Dubuque. Stay on the
freeway until you see the
Kerper Blvd. exit. Exit here and turn LEFT at the
stoplight. YOU are now
on Kerper, stay on Kerper
until you come to a "T" intersection. (Sutton Swimming Pool will be in
front of you) Turn
LEFT,
cross the railroad tracks and turn LEFT on to Rhomberg Ave. Turn RIGHT on
Shiras Ave. and
then
follow the signs to Eagle Point
Park. The SOUTH entrance to Eagle Point
Park will be
on your right.
It will cost
you a dollar to enter the park here. If
you are going back
and forth, we suggest that you go
to the NORTH entrance to Eagle Point
Park. Stay on Shiras Ave. and the
NORTH
entrance will be to
your right. Follow
the winding road up to the NORTH entrance - there is a
parking lot outside of the
park that you can park in and then walk to the tennis
courts.
 
From the DGCC
to University
of Dubuque:
Start out
going NORTHEAST on RANDALL PL
toward S GRANDVIEW AVE.
Turn LEFT onto S GRANDVIEW AVE.
Turn LEFT onto UNIVERSITY AVE.
End at 2000 University Ave Dubuque,
IA 52001
 
 
From the DGCC
to Wahlert High School & Veteran's Park:
Turn LEFT on Grandview from the
DGCC. YOU will stay on Grandview for
roughly 3-4 miles.
Stay on Grandview
until it intersects with Kane. Turn LEFT on Kane going west. You will
see the tennis courts and Wahlert
High
school on your right about 4 blocks. Veteran's tennis courts are located
northeast of the Wahlert
Courts. Matches
will be assigned from Wahlert to
the Veteran's courts. Check in at
Wahlert tennis
courts.
 
From the DGCC
to Hempstead High School:
Turn LEFT on Grandview from the
DGCC. At Highway 20 turn to the
LEFT(west) and go to the Northwest Arterial.
You will go
through 6 lights and at the 7th light (Northwest Arterial)
turn to your RIGHT.
Go to the second light
intersecting with Pennsylvania
Ave. Turn
RIGHT here. Hempstead
High
School will
be on your left in about 3-4
blocks. There is a
traffic light at the main entrance to Hempstead. Turn
LEFT into Hempstead. Drive straight
into the parking lot and keep going straight until you see
the tennis
courts.
 
From the DGCC
to Flora Park:
Turn LEFT on Grandview from the
DGCC. Follow Grandview until you get to
the intersection of University. This is
a four way stop. Fire
station diagonally left. Turn LEFT
here. Stay on
University,
getting into the far right lane
before the next intersection. At the 3-way stop turn RIGHT
on to Asbury
Rd.
Stay on Asbury until you get to
GREEN street (3-4
blocks) Turn
LEFT on GREEN street
and the Flora Park
tennis courts will be on your right in
3-4 blocks.
 
From the DGCC
to Senior High School:
Turn LEFT on Grandview from the
DGCC. Follow Grandview until you get to
the intersection of Clarke Dr. This is a 4 way stop sign. It is roughly 2 miles until you get to this intersection. At the 4 way stop sign, turn RIGHT.
Senior
High School
will be on your right. Go past the front
of the high school
and turn RIGHT into the diagonal entrance.
Drive into
the parking lot veering to the right.
The tennis courts can be
found below the baseball field.
 
From the DGCC
to Murphy Park:
Turn RIGHT on
Grandview from
the DGCC. Travel approximately 1 mile to
the
Murphy Park entrance. YOU will cross
over Highway 61/151 entering Dubuque.The entrance is about one block
after the hiway on the LEFT. Turn
LEFT and then
turn LEFT again as soon as you can. Park
in the area there
and the tennis courts will be up the hill
on your left.
