"I just wanted to thank you for the great time that I experienced in your tournament. I came to learn, not to win, and I did learn a great deal from the other tournament participants. I know sometimes that I tend to make excuses for my mistakes in the game, but I also know I need to work harder and improve. This was my first level 3, and there were tons of people for me to learn from. Hopefully, I will get to play again at your wonderful sports club, by the way, it is awesome, and I will be a great deal better because of this experience.

TOURNAMENT/MATCH CHECK-IN
Please check-in for your first match 30 min. early. After that you may check-in for your matches 15 min. early.

WARM UP
Warm-up will be limited to 5 minutes.

DRAW FORMAT
All singles draws will have a FULL FEED-IN Consolation. All doubles draws will be single elimination.
|
|
MATCH FORMAT
All singles matches, main draw and consolation, will play a 3rd set super tiebreak in lieu of a third set. All doubles matches will play an 8 game pro set. Alternate scoring may be used in the event of inclement weather.

AWARDS
Each player will receive a tournament t-shirt. Awards will be presented to the Champion and Finalist in each singles event.

THERE WILL BE A FULL FEED IN CONSOLATION FOR ALL SINGLES DRAWS!

DOUBLES
Please sign up for doubles on-line when you sign up for singles! For scheduling purposes we will not accept entries for doubles after the entry close date. If you are looking for a partner send an e-mail ASAP to KSHesketh@aol.com and we will try to help you find a partner.

SEEDING
Seeding will be done using the 2009 Seeding Regulations as approved by the USTA South Carolina Junior Competition Committee. We will be using the most recent southern standing lists.

BALLS
Dunlop is the official ball of the Sportsclub Greenville Junior Championships.
|
|
LIGHTS
Lights will be used if necessary.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, September 7, 2009 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
