DEADLINE FOR DOUBLES
THE DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING HELP FINDING A DOUBLES PARTNER IS 4 PM SUNDAY JULY 19TH. THERE WILL NOT BE ANYONE AVAILABLE TO UPDATE THE LIST AFTER THAT TIME.
Confirmations should be sent up to the deadline:
Deadline is Sunday July 19th at 11:59 PM. We will not put players together randomly, you must find a partner. Follow the Directions below. IF YOU WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO FIND A PARTNER: There may not be anyone at NTC to help you.

Doubles Team Deadline July 19 at11:59 PM.
If you have signed up online for doubles we still need all players and their partners to follow the procedures below to insure that you and your correct partner are paired and are in the doubles draw.
Doubles will start first on the first day of the tournament. You must have a doubles partner submited to the tournament by 11:59 PM Sunday July 19th . We will assist you in contacting others if you do not have a partner. Please follow the direction listed below.

Dress Code
the tournament committee has set a dress code in this tournament the rules to which all participants are expected to adhere. these rules are based on our community standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. good manners on and off the court will be required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
proper tennis attire should be worn. for females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. for males proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. shirts must be worn at all times. please respect our standards and adhere to our rules. failure to do so will result in the player being required to change prior to the match. this delay may result in penalties (pps) being assessed .

Friday Early Check in and Tournament Dinner
We will have the friday check in at Wood Park Recreation Center (1866 Highland Ave.). The directions: coming from i-20 exit i-20 at exit 196a and follow i-520 to exit 2 (wrightsboro rd) turn left onto wrightsboro road and follow 3 miles. You will pass the Newman Tennis Center on your left, and continue on Wrightsboro Rd. for about a mile. Turn Right on Highland Ave., there are two Circle K stations and a Popeye's Restaurant on the corner. Wood Park will be .4 miles on your Left. There is plenty of parking. If you pass the fire station you just passed the building. Do not look for a large park it is in fact a summer spray park for children. Check in and dinner will be from 5 to 8 pm.
We will have our tournament dinner starting at 5 pm and ending at 8 pm. All players, parents and family, and coaches are welcome.

Withdrawing from Tournament
If you withdraw from the tournament before the entry deadline you will receive a full refund. AS per the USTA Friend at Court: withdrawing from the tournament after the enrty deadline, results in the loss of your entry fee.

Weather Related Issues
In the event of inclement weather: The appropriate governing body will be contacted and the scoring system may be altered. The tournament can not be extended because it is sanctioned through a specific date. We will update the tournament page with tournament updates. If you see not updates report to the scheduled site 30 minutes prior to your scheduled match time.

Tournament Dates
The tournament starts on Saturday July 25th and historically lasts 5 days. Weather permitting we should end on July 29th.

Match Format
Boys and Girls 12-18 Singles Main Draw will play the best 2 out of 3 tie breaker sets. Boys and Girls 10's and all consolations will play the best of two sets with a third set match tie break in lieu of the third set. In the event of inclement weather the play format may be altered after consulting with GTA/STA.
Doubles play for all age groups will the an eight game proset with a match tie break at 8 all.

We have re-evaluated the seeding using the STA Standings (as directed by the GTA).

GEORGIA LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT. SIGN UP FOR DOUBLES ONLINE - Doubles
play will start the first day of the tournament. CONSOLATION - FIC
Singles & 3/4 Playoffs. JR. SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM IN EFFECT.
This tournament is open only to junior players whose parents have
established a legal residency in Georgia, hold a current USTA
membership card assigned to Georgia, and who are citizens of the
United States or meet the resident alien requirements for a
national ranking. Online registration at www.usta.com. Early check
in and the Tournament Dinner will be Friday, July 24, 5-8 PM to be
held at Wood Park Recreation Center. Players, parents and coaches
welcome. Players are encouraged to use Sponsor Hotels on the entry
form. See Inside Backcover for hotels that support tennis in
Augusta and offer reduced room rates when you identify yourself as
a tournament player. Umpires: Roving. David Robinson-Referee.
Scoring format - Singles: Main draw - Regular scoring (2 out of 3
sets), in the event of inclement weather an alternate scoring
system will be implemented. All Consolations and all 10's Singles-
Best of 2 sets with 3rd set match tie-break, Doubles: 8-game
pro-sets with a match tie-break at 8-all. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - This
is a State Championship tournament.
