DOUBLES Doubles times will be posted after match play Saturday evening...... NOTICE FOR PLAYERS! USTA TOURNAMENT NOTICE!......To all player.....Please check for updates often, and especially BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR YOUR MATCH. We will regularly update time changes or default information. DOUBLES EVENT: There is no charge for doubles. Matches for doubles will not start until Sunday. You can email us your team at englewoodtennis@earthlink.net anytime before Friday 12:00pm (no exceptions). If you don't have a partner and would like to play doubles, we will make every effort to match you with a partner, but please email this information by Friday. This is important for planning, accurate scheduling and to cut down on defaults for this event. Doubles draws will be posted Saturday after tournament matches have been completed. First round matches will not be before Sunday! PRACTICE COURTS/HOTELS/DIRECTIONS Hotels & Directions: Hotels nearby would be Verandah Inn Venice (941)484-9559, Best Western Venice (941)480-9898(First Choice), and Days Inn Englewood(941)474-5544, Osprey Inn in Osprey woud be about 15-20 minutes but might be a good alternative(941)966-2121. We have only 7 courts and will not have practice courts available as they are all reserved for tournament match play. Matches will be scheduled for all three days. Please plan accordingly. Please check in when you arrive, and be close to the tournament desk at your scheduled match time. Have fun and good luck! All players will receive a tournament t-shirt.
Notes Englewood Tennis Club is located in Sarasota County near the Englewood/Venice town line. There is shopping, food and beach just minutes away. TOURNAMENT EVALUATION Player Selection Type Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration. Entry Type Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members.
