AUSTIN SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP MAJOR ZONE (SCMZ 12_14)

PARENTS, PLAYERS, AND COACHES: Please note that there are TWO DIFFERENT SITES listed on the tournament homepage, South Austin Tennis Center and Austin Tennis Center. We are NOT using South Austin Tennis Center and ARE USING Austin Tennis Center at 7800 Johnny Morris Rd. I apologize for the confusion. Austin Tennis Center is Austin's newest tennis facility and the first time we've used it as a site so no map was included. To locate a map for Austin Tennis Center go to the Maps link, type in the address for AUSTIN TENNIS CENTER, 7800 Johnny Morris Rd. and hit the arrow/enter button. The map will come up for the CORRECT Tennis Center being used for this weekend's tournament.

PARENTS AND COACHES Because the tournament is conducted at UT on Monday, which is during classes in session, ALL CARS MUST SECURE A PARKING PASS TO BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED IN THEIR FRONT WINDSHIELD OR YOU WILL BE TICKETED BY THE UNIVERSITY. PARKING PASSES can be obtained in the pro shop. CATA will not be responsible for anyone receiving a ticket.

PARENTS, PLAYERS, AND COACHES All draws will be published NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, JAN. 6TH BY 6:00 P.M. Once draws are published, the tournament director asks that you re-check them often for possible changes due to withdrawals. Many times the tournament does not have contact information available to keep all competitors apprised of changes affecting their particular draw and/or match time. It is for this reason that it is strongly suggested that you re-check your player's draw often up to tournament start time.

ALL SITES DO NOT PROVIDE WATER ON COURT. They do have access to water, but water is NOT provided on court. Please be sure to bring all necessary supplies to the court for your players.

Should the Austin Super Champ Major Zone experience inclement weather, please call the Capital Area Tennis Association office by dialing (512) 443-1342 for ongoing weather and tournament updates. If you have Internet Access, we prefer that you check the tournament homepage for ongoing updates for possible delays of match play. The homepage will be updated prior to voice mail updates.

St. Stephen's is a private and pedestrian campus ONLY. For this reason, ALL tennis patrons (exluding those with approved handicap placards) MUST park at the gymnasium. You will have a good bit of an uphill hike to the tennis courts, which is just past the track behind the gym. Be sure to have all supplies with you as you won't want to make this trip often unless you made a New Year's resolution for additional exercise in 2009! However, once at the site, it's one of Austin's finest and most beautiful tennis campuses and is great for spectators viewing.
