PLEASE READ THIS HOMEPAGE

FIRST MATCH TIMES
As recommended by the USTA we do not post draws till the first round matches go on. We post first and second round start times on this home page under "Future Match Info" (above on left) by Friday, December 19th at 5pm. Please be careful when reading your first match start time since the second match times are also listed. All Boys 10 will be playing a Round Robin Format (3 matches each, worth 15 points per match) and will all playing Sunday at 11am, Monday at 11am and Monday at 230pm.

GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
* This is a Level 6 Challenger tournament that is open to both Unranked and Ranked players.
* Midwest and Chicago District points earned for each round won in main and consolation draw. Trophies given to Champion and Finalist in both the Main and Consolation Draws.
* All matches will be held on 9 spacious indoor hard courts at College Park Athletic Club with unobstructed viewing on each court.

MATCH FORMAT
We will have a first match consolation as to guarantee at least two matches for every player and we will finish the entire consolation. Because we have nearly 140 players, our match format will be best two out of three sets, with a match tiebreak (superbreaker) in lieu of the third set. The exception is all Boys 10 will be playing a Round Robin Format (3 matches each, worth 15 points per match) and will all playing Sunday at 11am, Monday at 11am and Monday at 230pm.


BG12 and BG10 ADDED ALONG WITH EXTRA DAY!
We have added the Boys and Girls 12 and Boys and Girls 10 and under divisions with a first match consolation. We have also added Tuesday, December 23rd but may not use this day depending on the number of players that register.

USTA CONTACT INFORMATION
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws, your contact information from USTA membership doesn't show up in the Tournament Directors' software anymore. Only what you indicate during the registration process shows up. We have no way of contacting you if you leave these areas blank. For instance, your opponent is sick. You may make an extra trip here and not need to. You must indicate all phone numbers, home, cell (a must!), work and your email address on each registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament you register for.


SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Our schedule is as follows: Saturday at 2pm, Sunday at 11pm, Monday at 11pm and Tuesday at 1145am. All Boys 10 will be playing a Round Robin Format and playing Sunday at 11am, Monday at 11am and Monday at 230pm. If you have a conflict please do not sign up. We cannot accomodate any special scheduling.

NEW SEEDING REGULATIONS
The number of players seeded shall equal a power of two (for example 2,4,8,16,32). The maximum ratio of players seeded shall be one in three, except that any draw may have two seeds. No more seeded players at #'s 5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, etc. For reference Friends of Court 2007, Page 73, FAC Comment II.A-1

PRO SHOP
You will receive a 15% off coupon to be used in our pro shop just for participating in the tournament. We have one of the best pro shops in the Chicago area. The latest apparel, shoes, bags,accessories and racquets in stock and available for special order. College Park has over 300 pairs of shoes in stock and brands in shoes and apparel like Nike, Adidas, Wilson, Prince,
K-Swiss, Babolat and more.

RESTAURANT
Our restaurant at College Park will be open during the tournament for smoothies, sandwiches, soup, etc.

SELECTION PROCESS
Limited draw although we will try our best to select everyone. Selections will be done by most current PPR (points per round) Midwest BG16, BG14, BG12 & BG10 Standings and if needed, CDTA BG16, BG14, BG12 & BG10 standings.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry Type
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, December 17, 2008 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
