Val Vista Lakes, one of the Valley's premier homeowners
establishments is pleased to welcome you to the 2008 19th Annual
But It's a Dry Heat/MDA Tennis Classic scheduled May 28-June 1,
2001 This annual event held as part of the 2008 Valley of the Sun
Grand Prix Torunament Circuit, has steadily gained popularity
throughout the Valley, attracting as many as 200 plus entries
participating in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles play. But It's
a Dry Heat, appropriately named, takes place during the peak of
summer with temperatures much like the competition, RED HOT! This
year, as years past, we are happy to donate a portion of the
proceeds to the Mucscular Dystrophy Association, MDA, a well
recognized national charity that serves the Valley and the entire
United States. So start heating up your tennis racquets and take
part in this exciting event. And remember, it's a Dry Heat!

-Saturday. June 21, 2008 Drill Clinic - Held at Val Vista Lakes
Wednesdah (June 4, 2008) 7:30-9pm Only $16 per person. Seminar
Briefing on Antioxdant Nutrition - An innovative look at
antioxidant nutrition that just might change the way you live, play
tennis, and do business. (Saturday June 21, 2008) Landmark
Restaurant. 1pm Inlcudes a voucher good for a (1) Hour Private
Lesson and 90 minure Match Play Drill Clinic - All for only $35
FREE Player Party/Auction Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 6-8:30pm.
Player's Guests: $6.00 Adults, $4.00 Children under 12 years old. A
portion of the proceeds is earmarked for the Muscular Dystrophy
Association so bring your checkbooks and make your bids. OTHER
ACTIVITIES: -Bring your swim suits and cool off before and after
your matches. -Volley ball - If the weather is nice and you have
time between your matches enjoy some volley ball in our sand
volleyball court. Indoor showers and locker facilities are also
available for tournament players. However you will need to bring
your own towels. A cardio room and weight room are also available
to all tournament players. TENNIS COURTS: Val Vista lakes has 8
lighted hard courts. AVOIDANCE SCHEDULEING: Please note the
tournament committe will attempt to accommodate some avoidance
schedules that players may have. Nevertheless, please clear your
schedules as best as possible to best expediate play. MATCH
SCHEDULING: All players must have a current USTA membership and be
prepared to play as early as Wednesday evening, May 28, 2008
beginning at 6:00pm. NOTE: All weekday matches will generally be
scheduled at 6 & 8 pm start times. Saturday and Sunday matches
will generally be scheduled in the morning and/or late afternoon
and evening. DIRECTIONS: Take US 60 to Val Vista Drive. Exit South
on Val Vista past Baseline Road to Lakeside Drive. Turn (East) left
on Lakeside Drive and then take an immediate left into the parking
lot area. The tennis courts and club house are to your right. We
