I will make every effort to work with your situation IF it's known prior to the draws being done and before the sign-up period closes. Problems that arrise after the sign-up period closes and throughout the event will have a much less likely chance of accomodation.

Adaptive Sports and Adventure Program
This organization provides a variety of programs and activities for physically challenged children and adults. Includes such things as wheelchair basketball, fishing, quad rugby, white water rafting, tennis, canoeing, kayaking, power soccer, sailing, water skiing, hand cycling, jet skiing, educational and social outings, and Winners on Wheels (a scouting type activity for youth who use wheelchairs). All profit from this tournament will be donated to this organization.

TOURNAMENT LOCATION / DIRECTIONS
Location: (JATC) Jeff Adams Tennis Center, 1200 W. Tyvola Rd., Charlotte, NC 28217
Directions: From 1-77 South, take Exit 5 (Tyvola Rd.). Turn RIGHT at light. Drive approximately 1 mile and cross South Tryon Street. Drive about 200 yards and the JATC sign is on the RIGHT. Reverse directions coming from the north.

FORMAT/MATCH DETAILS:
This is a single elimination USTA/STA/NCTA sanctioned tournament that is open to all adults 19 yrs and older. All USTA rules apply without exception. Best of 3 sets with a 12 point tie-break at 6-6. If needed due to draw size and/or inclement weather a 10 point match tiebreak may be played in lieu of the third set as well as the use of no-ad scoring during all sets. Your USTA membership must be current and you cannot play lower than your rating. Players must report to the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to the match. Match default is 15 minutes. Penalties will be imposed for minutes late leading up to the 15 minute default time. Warm-ups will be limited to 5 minutes. Back-to-back matches may occur if playing in multiple events with no more than a 30 minute break between matches. There will be one can of balls per match provided. There will be no play until 6 pm or later on Friday. Play may occur 8 am - 8 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Services Available:
Mend Massage - Peggy King, a NC licensed massage therapist, will be offering various chair and/or sport massage services to players. Her areas of expertise are Neuromuscular, Swedish and Myofascial Release. Ms. King has provided services to athletes recently with the The Citadel Group Championships at The Palisades tennis tournament, the Ramblin' Rose triathlon, and the Carolina Cycling TTA - Lowes Motor Speedway Time Trials Series monthly event.

WEATHER POLICY:
If you'd like to check for weather delays call the tournament 24 HOUR HOTLINE #704-553-9826. Unless there are specific delays mentioned, you are to report to JATC on time or you will be subject to defaults or penalties as usual. There will be no schedule changes for "possible" weather. Something will actually have to occur and we will make decisions from there and put them on the voice mail. You will be inconvenienced as minimally as possible. We will not return messages regarding weather. This site will not be kept updated either. Your only source for weather information is the phone # above. This keeps the information consistent and available to lots of you quickly and doesn't require remote internet access.
