GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
* This is a Level 6 Challenger tournament that is open to both Unranked and Ranked players.
* Midwest and Chicago District points earned for each round won in main and consolation draw. Trophies given to Champion and Finalist in both the Main and Consolation Draws.
* All matches will be held on 9 indoor hard courts at College Park Athletic Club with unobstructed viewing on each court.

FIRST MATCH TIMES
As recommended by the USTA we do not post draws till the first round matches go on. We post first and second round start times on this home page under "Future Match Info" (above on left) by Thursday, December 4th at 5pm. Please be careful when reading your first match start time since the second match times are also listed.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
All matches will be played with regular scoring, two out of three full sets. No shortened scoring. Friday matches begin at 6pm with last matches going on at 8:15pm. Some players have BYES, therefore do not play till Saturday. Those playing on Friday will only play one match. Saturday matches begin at 4pm with a possible two matches, and last matches going on at 7:45 and Sunday we begin at 5:30pm with one match for all except for B10 consolation that will have a possible two matches with last matches going at at 8pm. If you have any conflicts, please do not sign-up for this tournament. We can not make any special scheduling arrangements for you.


USTA CONTACT INFORMATION
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws, your contact information from USTA membership doesn't show up in the Tournament Directors' software anymore. Only what you indicate during the registration process shows up. We have no way of contacting you if you leave these areas blank. For instance, your opponent is sick. You may make an extra trip here and not need to. You must indicate all phone numbers, home, cell (a must!), work and your email address on each registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament you register for.


FIRST MATCH CONSOLATION
Every player will be guaranteed two matches because of our first match consolation.


NEW SEEDING REGULATIONS
The number of players seeded shall equal a power of two (for example 2,4,8,16,32). The maximum ratio of players seeded shall be one in three, except that any draw may have two seeds. No more seeded players at #'s 5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, etc. For reference Friends of Court 2007, Page 73, FAC Comment II.A-1


PRO SHOP
We have one of the best pro shops in the Chicago area. The latest apparel, shoes, bags,accessories and racquets in stock and available for special order. College Park has over 300 pairs of shoes in stock and brands in shoes and apparel like Nike, Adidas, Wilson, Prince,
K-Swiss, Babolat and more.


RESTAURANT
Our restaurant at College Park will be open during the tournament for smoothies, sandwiches, soup, etc.


SELECTION PROCESS
Limited draw although we will try our best to select everyone. Selections will be done by most current PPR (points per round) Midwest BG12 & BG10 and if needed, CDTA BG12 & BG10 standings lists.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry Type
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, December 02, 2008 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
