USTA MAS NTRP Championship

Our thanks to all who participated in this year's MAS NTRP Championship (formerly the Banana Open)! Despite substantial rain delays on Saturday, and various player conflicts, all matches now have been completed.

Thanks to all for their patience and cooperation in dealing with Saturday's 3+ hour rain delay. Thankfully, we were able to complete most matches, and have reached accomodations to play a few others on Sunday instead. So please review all draws for changes to the Sunday schedule. Note: there WILL be further schedule adjustments on Sunday as remaining conflicts are resolved by match results in other events. We will continue our practice of working with all affected players to find acceptable schedule times, and if necessary extended dates. We realize, for example, that the 80MXD event is highly dependent on how conflicts resolve, and that it is almost certain that the Final Round -- and possibly semi-final rounds -- may have to be played on a future (yet to be determined) date and time.

Please review your draw for REVISED match start times for Saturday. The M4.0s quarterfinals are changed slightly the 80MXD start times are revised by agreement of the players, together with a related change in the W35d draw. Please doublecheck ALL match start times in which you are involved. If in doubt, call the Referee at 301-523-2448.

After early morning rain delays, Friday matches were all completed and results are now posted. Any revisions to Saturday match times will be posted to this website by 5:00pm on Friday. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DRAW FOR ANY REVISIONS TO SATURDAY MATCH TIMES. PLEASE NOTE: because so many players enter multiple events, only Thursday night and Friday times are certain. As potential conflicts are resolved by match results, players will be consulted regarding subsequent round times. However, for the benefit of overall tournament administration, tournament officials reserve the right to determine the specific date/time at which matches must play or be defaulted. Consult this website on a regular basis for updated schedule information

Due to lack of entries, the Men's 2.5 Singles event, and both the Men's and Women's 4.5 Doubles events, are hereby cancelled. Entry Fees will be refunded.

Players who register on-line via this weebsite pay the entry fees stated above -- $48.88 per player singles and/or $28.00 per player doubles. Players who choose to mail paper entries pay a significantly higher rate: $55 per player singles and $35 per player doubles.
