The semi-finals of the consolation will be the best 2 of 3 tie-break sets, with a match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set. The semi-finals and the finals will both be played on Sunday.

Playing Dates

Tournament finals are scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2008. Generally, one singles match per day is planned. For events with 16-32 players, play will start on Wednesday, September 17. Events with 33-64 players will start on Tuesday, September 16.

Tournament Player Receptions

Due to the generosity of Tournament Sponsors Grant Thornton LLP, Suntrust, Farmer's Insurance, and Lindsay Automotive Group, there will be a welcome cookout for all players and their guests on Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00 P.M. On Friday evening, September 19, at 6:00 P.M., the club will host a cocktail party at the Tennis Patio for all players, their guests, and club members.

Seeds

The seeds for singles events are now posted. Draws and schedules will be posted by Friday, September 12. The seeds are the product of recommendations from Circuit Chairs and the Tournament Committee. These seedings are based on information obtained through the USTA website. Player input is welcome.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
