Fall Bloomington Duel in the Desert

Due to the large number of players participating from outside the Utah District, this tournament will be seeded according to the Intermountain Seeding Policy which states: The Seeding Policy has been decided by the ITA Junior Competition Committee. Seeding for specific tournaments will be taken straight off of the current ITA Standings Lists except if there is an exceptional player playing/aging up. An exceptional player is a player listed as top 100 in the lower age division on the most current national standings list. This exceptional player as well as nationally ranked players outside the Intermountain Section will be considered for seeding.

The tournament hotel is the Crystal Inn, 1450 South Hilton Drive, St. George, (435) 688-7477. Mention the tournament to get the rate of $85.00 + tax for single or double bed. Great hotel with three tennis courts.

The umpire for this tournament is the one and only Logan Birney.

The scoring will be best 2 out of 3 tie-break sets in all events EXCEPT B10s and G10s and all doubles will play the best 2 out of 3 tie-break sets with a 10-point match tie-breaker in lieu of third sets. The 15 minute default rule will be enforced throughout the tournament.

The tournament will be played at Bloomington Country Club (BCC), Tonaquint Park (TP), Summit Athletic Club (SAC), Dixie High School (DHS), Pine View High School (PVH), Desert Hills High School (DHHS), Green Valley (GV), and Snow Canyon High School (SCH).

Sunday play is required in this tournament. If you are not able to play on Sunday (finals), please do not enter the tournament. There will be no rescheduling of matches.
