WILSON JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

NO draws and times are final until the matches begin. We will continue to replace withdrawals, and if necessary, change start times. We know this is difficult, but we do expect you to double-check your time before you leave home on Friday or Saturday. Thanks for your understanding in advance.

Draws will not be posted online until play begins on Saturday - but draws will be posted at RLP's Tennis Center during check-in on Friday. Address for the Tennis Center is: 42-000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, 92270. You can pick up your Wilson player gift, get maps and tournament information, and hit on the courts until the Mixed Doubles begins. Check-in begins at 3 PM by the tennis clubhouse. The Mixed will begin at 5 PM.

For those who attend the check-in Friday night (optional, but recommended) we will offer a fun social event for those of you who like mixed doubles. There will be a mixed doubles 'mixer' (you will not need your own partner we'll arrange it all for you) and dessert. Please send us an email letting us know you plan to come to play mixed., and whether you have a partner or not (and their name). The entry fee of $10 per person will be paid when you arrive. Alternates are welcome to play. Play will begin at 5 PM please check-in for this event by 4:30. If you are running late getting out there, please call and let us know! This is not a sanctioned event -- but with early darkness and USTA rules, we are not able to offer regular doubles during the event. AFTER Friday morning, you need to call the tournament number to be added to the mixed doubles -- or to withdraw if you can not get out there in time.

We have negotiated the best possible price we could get at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort (41-000 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage, 92270) -- our host site for the tournament and site for the Boys and Girls 18s for the entire tournament. The rate this year is $155/night with an additional 10/night 'resort fee.' (866-423-1195 and mention the Wilson Jr. Champs. for this price advance reservations required cutoff is Sept. 7th!). Since this will not fit everyone's budget, we also have negotiated a group rate with Fairfield Inn just a mile away (72-322 Hwy 111, Palm Desert, 92260) at $111 for Fri/Sat and $84 for Sun-Thurs. you must call direct to the Fairfield for this price at (760) 341-9100 and ask for "Renata" in the sales office at Ext. 170, as our cut-off for the block has passed (Sept. 15). The FAIRFIELD is within 12 minutes of ANY of our sites.
