Withdrawal Penalty for Super Champ Level Tournaments
There will be no penalty for withdrawing from singles or doubles prior to Wednesday, April 10th at 12 Noon for this Super Champ Major Zone. After that time, if a player withdraws from singles and/or doubles, they will be penalized 2 suspension points for the withdrawal. This includes any withdrawals, walkovers, and retirements after Wednesday, April 10th at Noon until the end of the tournament. The maximum penalty is 2 points per tournament. You will not be penalized twice for singles and doubles withdrawals. If a player does reach the suspension threshold, they will be able to appeal any points at that time.

Doubles Process and Tournament Timeline
For doubles, if one player in a team withdraws, the partner will have until Wednesday, April 10th at 12 Noon to find a new partner. After Wednesday at Noon, if the remaining player is left unpaired, they will be removed from the draw. After the Noon deadline, teams will be re-seeded into draws based on the updated combined Texas Standing List ranking of the final teams. Any withdrawal made after Wednesday at Noon results in the entire team being withdrawn. The Wednesday 12 Noon deadline gives the TD time to adjust both singles and doubles draws prior to the Thursday 6:00 PM draw posting.

Doubles Registration
Players may register with or without a partner. Those who register with a partner must indicate their partner through the online registration system before the entry deadline. Players will need to correctly identify their doubles partner during their initial registration process or they may go back later, prior to the entry deadline, and “Edit Registration” to indicate their partner of choice. Correct doubles registration is the player’s responsibility. Immediately after registration, players need to check the Applicant List to ensure they are registered with their partner of choice (and their partner is also registered with them). Remaining individual players will be paired up based on the order of their Singles UTRs.
