DOUBLES DEADLINE
ALL SINGLES MAIN DRAW PLAYER MAY PLAY DOUBLES...If you received an email stating you are in the singles, but not the doubles, ignore the 'doubles' email and view the below notes... *The doubles deadline is Thursday, April 26, 2018 @ 5pm. If you would like to play doubles and/or would like for us to pair you with another player, you MUST email Ivan Baron at ibaron@YellowTennisBall.com
(make sure to get a confirmation email). If we do not hear from you, we will take you out of the doubles event. IMPORTANT: ALL divisions will have doubles take place BEFORE
their singles matches on Day 1 & 2. Make sure to double-check your start times and
site abbreviations. In addition, a player can only play doubles in the
same division as they are playing singles.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND SELECTION PROCESS
Players may choose ONE of the following options, but NOT both: OPTION 1: ENTER any ONE (1) division of TWO (2) concurrent USTA National Level 3 Tournaments (this may be a different division in each tournament); OR OPTION 2: ENTER TWO (2) divisions of ONE (1) USTA National Level 3 tournament Players may PLAY in only ONE division of ONE tournament. Players who register for three (3) or more events will be given 5 suspension points and will only be selected into a maximum of two events.

FORMAT ~ SINGLES & DOUBLES
32 Singles draw, 16-team Doubles draw per division...Both singles and doubles will include NO-AD scoring (similar to collegiate tennis)
* Singles: Best of three tie-break sets with a
10-point tie-break in lieu of a 3rd set. Mandatory feed-in consolation draw
(through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a
separate consolation draw to play for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final
losers will play for 3rd and 4th place
* Doubles: Single elimination. 6-game set with
7-point Tiebreak at 6-games all (no-ad scoring, similar to College
Tennis). There will be no 3/4 Playoff.

IMPORTANT DATES
* April 12 @ 11:59 Am EST - Entry deadline.
* April 17 @ 5:00 PM EST - Players who are selected into 2 events may withdraw without penalty until EOB on April 17. Players who withdraw after that date to play in another event are not entitled to an entry fee refund and should also be assessed with the E2 violation (4 points for withdrawing from a tournament for reason other than injury, illness, or personal circumstance).
* April 25 - Seeding list published to order seeds.

PLAYER FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN PRIOR TO PLAY ON SATURDAY
All players must fill out a Player Contact form and Medical Release
before playing their first match. Click 'more info' to view the two
documents; please do not email or fax it to our office pre-event. We
will have blank copies at the site or feel free to bring it with you
when you check in.

ALTERNATE INFO.
Once the draws are posted, the next available alternate will be placed in any opening, be it a position occupied by a seed or non-seed. Prior to the posting of the draws, when we have withdrawals of seeds, we will move up the next seed accordingly.
On-site alternates must sign in with the Site Director by 7:45am.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 12, 2018 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
