Rita's Ice, Massages, Gem Mine, Hammock Rest Area and Chaired Finals Adds to the Fun
The GYGO features singles and doubles, but also has a fun mixed doubles division. Food will be provided throughout the days, and each player gets a free Rita's Ice treat on Saturday! They will be on-hand from 12-4 on Saturday for the players and well as have their treats available for sale to all attendees. We will also have a masseuse on Friday and Saturday giving out free massages to both players and attendees. The Gem Mine will also be on-hand for your panning pleasure! Some Finals on Sunday will also be chaired on court 1, just like college and the pros!

Selection Process & L4 Eligibility
Players
will be selected based on the most recent published NC standing list. Effective 5/31/2018, Level 4 (NC L4): Player must have one of the following:
-Some NC
standing -A
verifiable player record, i.e. JTT, High School, Middle School, other
district/sectional rank The names of players who have been selected will appear as
"Competitors" after the tournament deadline when selections are made.

Sportsmanship Reminder
In order to truly enjoy the sport of tennis, it is essential to display good sportsmanship which includes abiding by the rules, playing fair, and showing respect for your opponent. IMPORTANT - READ FULLY
You are responsible for all the information on this page. You should review all of it thoroughly. The draws are tentative and may change due to weather, withdrawals, defaults, administrative error, etc. You will not be contacted due to changes. You should review the draws often particularly before leaving for a match to be sure nothing has changed. It is important that matches stay on schedule. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for travel. The site will be updated regularly throughout the event. If you have access to a mobile device you can use that to check draws and see results. All times have been posted.

Withdrawals and Refunds
There are no refunds for players who withdraw after the selection process.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled match time. After checking in stay within earshot of the tournament desk.

All players should select T Shirt size when registering and will receive it at check in at HRC. Please note we will have Ladies and Men's shirts, so select your size accordingly. You will be given the shirt you ordered. If desiring another size, you can request that starting Sunday morning.

Awards: Awards will be given to all division winners, finalists, and consolation draw winners.

Boys and Girls 10's: The 10's divisions will play on 60' court using ORANGE compression balls. Racquets cannot be longer than 25". Matches are the best of three 4 game sets (TB at 4-all),regular scoring with a 7 point tiebreak played instead of a third set.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 3, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
