Notes
UPDATE AS OF 7/22 7:05 AM: Due to the wet courts and rain,
the tournament will move indoors for Sunday morning matches.
UPDATE AS OF 7/21 8:25 A.M.
Due to the current wet conditions/humidity levels, the forecast,
and unplayable courts, the tournament will move indoors for
Saturday...all matches will play inside. As of right now we
are not adjusting any match times. Please show at your assigned
times. Your matches indoors may be delayed, but we will start
matches as close to your assigned time as we can. By arriving in a
timely manner, once both match's players are checked in, they go
into the "next open" schedule. We appreciate your patience as we
adapt with our inclement weather. Thank you.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT
INFORMATION REGARDING THE TOURNAMENT.
In the event of rain, the indoor backup courts will be at the
Naperville Tennis Club, 1011 East Benton Ave, Naperville, IL 60540.
(IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, WE WILL POST INFORMATION HERE ABOUT
MOVING INDOORS TO THE NAPERVILLE TENNIS CLUB).
DO NOT USE THE MAPS FEATURE ON THE USTA MOBILE APP.... there
is no work-around for tournaments that are at different sites than
the member organization's address...meaning, your app will take you
to the tennis club...not our outdoor event site. We cannot turn off
or alter this feature which is why it is so important that you read
through the notes here.
All of the draws and match times are now posted. You will notice
that in the back draw (consolation draw), some matches in
consecutive rounds have the same times (e.g., the QF times may be
at 2:45 pm and the SF times may also be at 2:45 pm). Based on the
results of front draw matches, some back draw matches may not need
to be played and therefore the subsequent round can be played,
which is why these times are the same. However, if an earlier round
in the back draw needs to be played, then the subsequent round's
match time will need to be moved. We have some open courts at 5:30
pm and 7:00 pm on Saturday night, so keep in mind that some matches
listed on Saturday for 2:45 pm or 4:15 pm may be moved to 5:30 pm
or 7:00 pm (based on the results of front draw matches). We need to
wait until the earlier front draw matches are completed which will
impact these match times. (For example, if a QF match at 2:45 pm
needs to be played, then the SF match which is also listed at 2:45
pm will need to be moved to later in the day, either 5:30 pm or
7:00 pm based on court availability - this only affects back draw
matches).
Also, for the B14s, if one of the players in the Saturday night SF
round would be playing their 4th match of the day, then the SF
match will be moved to Sunday morning at 8:00 am, which would move
the Final match in the B14s to Sunday at 10:30 am.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact the
Tournament Director, Steve Haas, at 630-660-1943.

early so that you find the tennis courts on time and are prepared

registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
