Notes
UPDATE AS OF 3/24, 12:15 PM: The draws are now posted. The G10
Green, G16 and G18 divisions are not running due to not enough
players signing up. All other divisions are running. We have
scheduled out all of the match times. Some of the back draw matches
listed may not be played due to the results in the front draw
(i.e., players may get a bye in a scheduled back draw match due to
the results of the front draw), but all of the times have been
posted. Some divisions will finish on Monday while others will
finish on Tuesday. If you have any questions, please call the
Tournament Director, Steve Haas, at 630-660-1943. We look forward
to seeing everyone on Monday.
UPDATE AS OF 3/24, 9:15 AM: We are working on the draws and times
now. If there is another G18 player who wishes to sign up, please
call the Tournament Director, Steve Haas at 630-660-1943 before
12:00 PM. We currently have 2 girls in the G18s, so that division
needs at least 1 more girl in order to run. Thank you.
This tournament is scheduled during Naperville's Spring Break, so
there will be some daytime matches.
If you have any questions, feel free to call the Tournament
Director, Steve Haas at 630-660-1943 or you may call the Naperville
Tennis Club at 630-355-5600. Thank you, and we look forward to
seeing you at the tournament!
Meredith Pollack will act as referee.
Draws may be limited so that the events finish in 2 days.
Players are selected using the most current Midwest Standing List.
FMLC (players are guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches), backdraw may
not be played to completion.
UPDATE 3/1: BOTH THE 11 and UP AND 10U GREEN BALL PLAYERS WILL
START 3/26 and FINISH 3/27. The tournament will wrap for everyone
on 3/27
The tournament site is Naperville Tennis Club: 1011 East Benton
Ave. The club is conveniently located by downtown Naperville and
the shopping along Ogden Ave. This is helpful for lunch and dinner
breaks.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!
FIRST MATCH START TIMES:
Once the draws are posted, please click to find your times there.
We do not email or call participants to tell them times. It is the
player's responsibility to find that on the tournament home

the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the

call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.

the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.

the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT

will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
Regular scoring, 2 our of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu
of a 3rd set.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Messages
