Draws are Posted
The draws and schedule have been posted for the Columbus Open. To view them you can go to http://tiny.cc/columbusopen and click on the Draws tab.
We were originally planning on only playing 8 game pro sets, but since we do not have a full slate of players in each event, we are going to move ahead with best of 3 set matches.
Please check in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled match time. Some matches will end earlier than the allotted 1 hour a 30 minute slots so please be available to play early if you can. I know some of you have events to attend Saturday night.
Some players received a notification about an issue with your online payment. If you received such a message, please bring cash or check when you checkin for your first match.
We are anticipating playing all matches on Saturday unless players in Championship matches have a scheduling conflict and mutually agree to play on Sunday.
Water, Gatorade, Fruits and Snacks will be provided throughout the tournament. If this is your first time playing in a tournament, you should consider bringing a fresh pair of socks and clothes to change in to between matches.
Thank you for your patience in getting these draws posted. This is our first time managing a tournament through the USTA's system, and it can be quite cumbersome.
It looks like we will have great weather for the match. It may be a little on the windy side, but it looks like we will stay dry! Look forward to seeing you there! Thank you for playing in the Columbus Open!
