PLEASE READ!
Raleigh Racquet
Club along with the USTA-NC office are working together to ensure a great
experience is had by all. To do that,
with this particular tournament having a multitude of draws, we feel it is
imperative that we get ahead of the game and make you aware of a few of the
procedures that will be used in the decision-making process of;
a. whether or not to hold a draw as well as b. when draws will be combined and c. if there is weather (being rain or intense
heat) which scoring format will be used.
Our Plan is as
follows;
1. If you see that no one has entered in the
specific draw you are wishing to register…please go ahead and register in it so
others may see that and register in that draw as well. Many players play the waiting game… J
2. If at the close
of registration there are no other players in your draw or if there are only a
total of 2 players in a draw, we WILL combine
this draw with another draw (as rules allow) so all players will be able to play!

WEATHER
If there is rain or intense heat, scoring
will go to No-Ad 1st, then shorts sets to 4 or an 8-game pro set.

then a default no show, all points received in that tournament will be deleted
from the player record.

matches unless the player withdraws prior to the beginning of the tournament.
Any unexcused default, whether in the main draw or consolation round, will

both age and NTRP divisions.
