Important Weather Note--Saturday 6:30 AM Update
The Ace Tennis Services team is ready to run a fantastic tournament for
you this weekend. 500 junior tennis players will be competing at 9
sites...and we have an All Star team of excellent site directors,
volunteer parents, and plenty of USTA officials ready to go! We are
excited about hosting the tournament for all of you parents, players and
coaches! There is a strong possibility of some rain this weekend and of
course that's the one thing we can't control, so please understand that
we will do our very best to play all matches scheduled. The Ace Tennis
Services team will be up early on Saturday morning checking the
condition of all courts and we'll have a weather update posted on this
tournament homepage at 6:30 AM. So...there's no need to call, email or
text us today asking about the weather--please check the website
Saturday at 6:30 AM for an update.

Tournament Tips--Please Read
To find your playing site and match time, click on the "Draw" tab above and find your name in the draw. There may be multiple draws in your age group. The website will be updated daily with new info on draws, weather, and other important info. Be sure to check your draw Friday evening before you go to bed and again on Saturday morning for any changes to your schedule. It is the players responsibility to read the draw sheets correctly for your correct playing site and match time. Site Directors will not be giving out match times so have the USTA website pulled up on your cell phone so you can see your draw and match times. We'll be awarding a Sportsmanship Award to one deserving player--they'll win a free week at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX. Any questions? Email Tournament Director Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com.

Parents--Your Help is Needed to Make This Tournament Fun for the Kids
Things always run better in 10's tournaments with lots of help from parents--and no experience is necessary to help out. If you can volunteer for even an hour or two you'll make a huge contribution to the success of this tournament...and for sure the kids will have more fun (and the matches will run more smoothly). Two types of helpers are needed: 1). Easy but important stuff--we need help from parents to get the site ready for play and check in players and 2). Orange ball court monitors are needed to help the players keep score, manage the balls, and follow the basic rules of tennis. Email Tournament Director Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com if you can help.
