Player Responsibility - CHECK DRAWS !!!
It is the player's responsibility to know their 1st match and future match times and show up in a timely manner. TOURNAMENT HOME PAGE WILL BE UPDATED FREQUENTLY DURING THE COURSE OF THE TOURNAMENT. ALL USTA rules will be enforced during the tournament. Contact the tournament desk ASAP if you are having directional issues (704 806 0909). Withdrawals and defaults may occur through out the weekend. Lastly, please FAMILIARIZE yourself with CONSOLATION rules of play. It can be confusing at times. Communication with tournament director is key, so that calmer heads prevail during the tournament.
|
Limited Draws
All draws are limited to 16 teams (TO SECURE A ONE DAY EVENT) with a feed in draw (Through The Quarterfinals). There will also be a playoff for third & fourth in the semi-finals. Please take this into account when deciding what event to enter. The top 16 teams will be chosen for each event,so if you are playing in a higher age group for which you do not have ranking points, you will mostly likely not be chosen for that event if the event reaches the maximum number of 16 teams. I suggest entering your current age group and notify me by email if you would like to play a higher division. If space allows I may allow you to move up to the higher division once the deadline has closed and I have the final count.

SEEDING & SELECTION PROCESS
All NC residents' NC Standings will take precedent. For players who reside outside of NC, Southern Standings will be considered for seedings and selection. When Southern and NC Standings conflict the tournament committee will decide on a case by case basis which standings shall be used. Doubles seeding is applied by adding the two players ranking together and the lowest totals are the higher seeds. Online Entries ONLY Any alternate must have registered online No "on-site" alternates are allowed unless they originally signed up online prior to entry deadline. No LATE entries will be taken
