NC List Standing List and Alternates
Friday, April 13
We will use the NC Standing List published on Friday April 13 for tournament selection.
Selections will be made by Sunday, April 15.
Alternates are still considered in the tournament; if you are accepted into another tournament please let Tournament Director know so you can be removed from alternate list.

Draw Limits
Selections and Seeding will be based on the most up to date NC standings after entries close. Draws will be limited to 32 per division in singles, and 16 doubles teams per age division. There will be NO LATE ENTRIES allowed into this tournament.

Closed Eligibility
By
registering online for this tournament, I, or if a junior, my parent or
guardian certify that I am in compliance with the following statement.
“I hereby certify
that I am domiciled in, and a resident of, the State of North Carolina and will
have been so for 30 days preceding the start of this tournament; and that
during the current ranking year, I have not entered, nor do I intend to enter,
any closed tournament in any other USTA District (State) or in any other USTA
Section, other than the Southern Section; and that this certification is made
to determine eligibility for this tournament and is made under penalty of
disqualification by the Tournament Committee from entry, suspension, denial of
any ranking or any other appropriate action by the North Carolina Tennis
Association.”

FORMAT, SCORING, BALLS
Match Formats - 12-18s Divisions Singles - Singles play will
not begin before Saturday at 8:00am. The format is Feed-In Consolation
thru Quarterfinals (FICQ). Consolation Finals will be played out. All 12s-18s singles matches will play two sets with a 10-point TB in lieu of the 3rd set (AD Scoring). Pro Penn Marathon Regular-Duty Tennis Balls will be used.
Match Formats 12-18s Doubles - Doubles play may begin Friday beginning at 3:00pm at the earliest. The format is Single Elimination (SE). Matches will be 8-game pro-sets with a 7-point tiebreaker at 8-games all with AD Scoring.
Match Formats - 10s Divisions Singles - The
10-and-under divisions in this tournament will play matches using the GREEN compression ball on 78' court. These divisions will play 2-out-of-3 sets.
Each set play AD SCORING and go to 4 games with a 7-point tiebreaker played at 4-all. 10s matches will also play a 7-point tiebreaker instead of a 3rd set.

DOUBLES may play on different surface from SINGLES. Pls note on draw your site. You may check in directly to the posted site.

PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their
next match time and show up in a timely manner. Check the website often
for updated match times. PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30
MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE
ENFORCED FOR LATENESS. This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be no exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic, etc.)

PARENT ALERT AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
The Parent Alert and Medical Release is required by
USTA/NC prior to playing matches. Parent/Guardian must sign. Bring
your signed form with you to registration. This form must be filled out
for each player for every tournament. A link to the form can be found

WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline - Go to the Tournament Website
and click "Edit Registration" on the right side of your screen, then
"Withdraw." From there, you can withdraw. If you do not know your
Confirmation Number, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below
"Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you; you must do this yourself. You
will lose the processing fee if you do not withdraw online before
registration closes.
Withdrawal After the Entry Deadline -
Immediately contact the tournament to withdraw from the tournament.
All withdrawals after "Entries Close" must be sent BOTH in writing via
email (to the Tournament Director's address above) AND by phone to the
tournament site.
Withdrawing During the Tournament - You must get approval from the Head Referee at the
main site. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have
properly withdrawn. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it
will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE
PHONE!
Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

What if I am an ALTERNATE?
Check out one of
these tournaments- RCG Spring Fling NC L4 (ID
703934318 ) or NC L4 Chapel Hill Country Club Championship (ID 703950818).
Registration is still open for both.
Players can decide to remain on alternate list for this tournament or they
can notify HondaJet TD in writing to remove themselves from alternate list.
Please know that if players are signed up for two tournaments after the
tournament deadline on the same weekend, they are subject to suspension points.

Play the Columbia Forest NC State Closed Open, June 18-23. Juniors will have the opportunity to compete against more experienced Adults. Click on the link above for more information if interested. Please note that NO junior NC standing points will be awarded as this is considered an adult tournament.

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION NOTES
Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments: 11.
"A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When
entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned
tournaments, if any part of the tournament is scheduled to overlap
unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and
concurs in writing." 12. "Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player's entry is accepted in another tournament."
What if played on an Alternate List? There are two options: 1.) Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament. 2.) Withdraw from the Alternate Lists so you can legally enter another tournament.
