Sunday 9:00 am:
The courts are wet and
there is no sun. We are delaying again. The next update will be at
11:00 am. We are hopeful to put on matches by 12:30 and play as
much as we can. If we get on by 12:30 we will play until dark but
our sites do not have lights so some matches will go unplayed. If
you would like to withdraw please email the tournament director at
woodlandstennis@icloud.com.

Sunday 7:30 am. All matches delayed. We will update again at 9 am.
No matches will start before 10 am. All 10s are cancelled.
3:20 update: All matches have been rescheduled. We will play short
sets starting at 2-2 with no add scoring.
All consolation and Doubles matches are cancelled.
12:00 update: All Matches cancelled for Saturday Jan. 27. We will
rework the schedule and attempt to play the entire tournament on
Sunday. The new times will be posted by 6:00 pm.
10:30 am update: We are delayed until noon. At noon we will decide
if we will play today or tomorrow. Next update noon.
8:30 am update: Still raining in the Woodlands. We will update
again at !0:30 am. No matches will be played before 12:30.
6:00 am update: Courts are wet all 8:00 am matches are postponed.
We will update again at 8:30 am no matches will be played until
10:30 am.

SCORING:
All Juniors will play 2 of 3 sets regular scoring with super tie
breaker for the 3rd set.
10 and under will play 2 of 3 sets to 4 with a regular tie breaker
for the 3rd set.
REGISTRATION: Please register at first match playing site 30
minutes prior to start of match.
SPECIAL NOTES: Draws and first match times will be posted to the
internet. No refunds given after entry deadline or for
weather-related cancellations. IN CASE OF RAIN, CONSOLATION WILL BE
CANCELLED, NO EXCEPTIONS. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO THE DRAW AFTER
THE DRAW IS PUBLISHED. EVENTS WITH 4 OR FEWER ENTRANTS MAY BE
COMBINED.
Please check the draw after 9 pm the night before you play and in
the morning before you leave in case there are any changes to the
draw.

10 & Under Regulation - Junior Other Tournaments
All junior other sanctioned tournaments offer 10 & Under Orange Ball Division (orange ball, 60 foot court and 25 inch racquet) and 10 & Under Green Ball Division (green dot ball, 78 foot court and 27 inch racquet). Please register for the correct division based upon age, Challenger tournament credit / wins, etc. All tournament entries are verified by the section office. Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

USTA Texas "No Late Entries" Policy for Juniors Due to a new USTA Texas internal procedure, junior division players will NOT be able to register for a tournament after the online published deadline. We are aware that currently parents reach out via email or phone to the USTA Texas staff and/or tournament director requesting to be manually added to the tournament after online registration has closed. If a player misses the registration deadline, then he/she will not be permitted to participate in that tournament

Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.
