BOYS AND GIRLS 10s
SPECIFICATIONS FOR 60’ ORANGE BALL Court size of 60’ x 21’ Net Height 3’
Racquet Size to be no longer than 25”
This is a USTA Level 8
ENTRY LEVEL Tournament. Players get no ranking points for this tournament, but
may get youth progression points. Players will be
playing a compass Draw, continuous rounds of play, other divisions will use a
round robin format (minimum three rounds of play as well)
What
to Bring: Correct racquet
size, head cover, sunblock, water bottle and food supply for the day.
Amenities: Practice courts from 9:00am to 10:00am Sunday morning
only. Trophies will be given to the Champs and finalists in each division.
Equipment, Format and playing rules:

You will play three rounds minimum of match play, with an average
of 15min to 20 min break periods
·
All players are required to use a 25 inch racquet or smaller.
·
Players will use orange low
compression ball and play two out of three short sets first player to 4 games
wins set
·
no ad scoring, a 7
point tiebreaker is played for the third set.
·
This tournament is designed for players who want to begin
competitive play and maybe step up from Junior Team Tennis.
·
This is NOT for parents and players who want to play and win
ONLY for youth progression points.. Players should be able to serve, rally and
keep score on their own.
·
Players will also have to call their own
lines and should be able to do so.
