MATCH TIMES - GENERAL GUIDELINES
Matches will begin no earlier than Friday at 4 pm. However if all divisions remain small, there will be no match play until Saturday at noon. Any divisions that have over a sixteen draw will play their feed-in matches Friday afternoon. If there is a draw size of sixteen, there will be two rounds on Saturday and two on Sunday. All other divisions will play up to two rounds on Saturday and the finals on Sunday. An exception might be divisions that are running a round robin. The expectation is to finish all events by Sunday afternoon, depending on draw sizes. Please be prepared to play up to 2 matches a day. Rain is always a mitigating factor, so occasionally we have to double up to complete the tournament. If you have special time needs, make sure you email Alann Leinwohl with your request. We prefer email when possible since it leaves an electronic trail, eliminating many problems of who said what.

MATCH FORMAT
All matches will be best of three tiebreak sets, with the match tiebreak (first player to 10 points leading by at least 2 points) used in lieu of the third set. Be prepared to play up to 2 matches a day so we can complete the event within our allowed time frame.

*** HEAT *** HEAT *** FLUIDS *** EQUIPMENT *** SUPPLIES ***
It is usually very warm this time of year. Each player is responsible for their own well being and maintaining their ability to perform. ** FLUIDS ** FLUIDS ** FLUIDS ** Remember - this should be a USTA Rule - All players should bring a minimum of 1 gallon of fluid with them per match they will be playing. Do not mess with Mother Nature - she is heartless. Better to have too much water than not enough. Players are responsible for all their own needs, equipment and supplies (rackets, grips, towels, tee shirts, shoes, socks, Band-Aids, sweat bands, towels, shoe laces, tape, scissors, aspirin, Advil, Alleve, vibration dampers, etc.).
