10-Point Tiebreak for 3rd Set
All 3-set matches will play a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. The only exception is main draw finals which will play out the 3rd set.

Backdraw Matches 8-Game Pro-Set
All Backdraw/Consolation matches will be 8-game prosets. That is first to 8 games by 2 and a tiebreak played at 8-8.

Doubles Matches 8-Game Proset
All doubles matches will be 8-game prosets. That is first to 8 games by 2 and a tiebreak played at 8-8.

Location: Gordon Moore Park
All matches will be played at the Dr. Raymond Simpson Tennis Center at Gordon Moore Park at Tavernier Way, Alton, IL 62002. College Avenue is the major road that Gordon Moore Park is located on. Once you enter the park go to the first stop sign and take a left. The courts will be at the end of the road. There is plenty of viewing area, but it is recommended to bring your own chairs. There will be water and restrooms at the site.

The Alton Junior Open is open to all junior players - USTA and
non-USTA members. Flights are by age group - boys and girls singles
and doubles 12-and-under, 14-and-under, 16-and-under, 18-and-under.
Because this tournament is open to everyone, it does not earn USTA
points. Come out, have some fun and meet some new players in your
age group. Membership is not required!
Just go to Tennis Link Tournaments and create an account. You will
need an account number or a member number to register. Join the
fun!
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 24, 2017 11:59:00 PM Central Time.
