Tournament Surfaces
Hard Court Events: Boys' 10 Orange, Boys' 14, Boys' 18, Girls' 14, Girls' 16
Clay Court Events: Boys' 10 Green, Boys' 12, Boys' 16, Girls' 10 Green, Girls' 12

Doubles
Doubles draws will be posted late Friday evening, and matches will be played Saturday afternoon.

Check In
Check in will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, and will last until 6:30 p.m. ALL DOUBLES TEAMS MUST BE REGISTERED BY 6:30!!!
Check in will continue at 7 a.m. Saturday morning. All players must check in before playing matches, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Scoring for all 10s events
The 10U divisions will be Green Level 1 and Orange level 2
& 1 within the new Youth Progression system parameters. Green level 10's
will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls and up
to 29" racquet.
Orange 1 & 2 levels will play on a 60' court with orange balls.
The required scoring format for all 10's singles matches, shall be the best of
two short sets - Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a
set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set
tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.
NO COACHING ALLOWED
FOR 10’S DIVISIONS BECAUSE OF SHORT SETS & 7-PT MATCH TIEBREAK

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
The USTA Southern Section and
the Louisiana Tennis Association requires a signed release covering all
entrants in USTA Southern Section events. The release must be signed by the
entrant and parent or guardian of any entrant who is a minor.

This
tournament will offer a non-elimination format 12 & under Green Ball event
to transition 10 & under players from the 60' orange ball to a 78' court.
Players will receive half of the tournament points as the 12 & under yellow
ball division.

Tournament Surfaces Querbes Tennis Center has both Hard & Clay tennis courts. Upon closing of draws, we will post surface of divisions.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, April 3, 2017 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
