Main Draw: 2 out of 3 sets using No-Ad scoring. Receivers choose who receives serve at deuce. There will be a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a full third set.
Consolation Draw: 8 game pro set with a 7-point tie break at 8 games all. Regular scoring at deuce (No-Ad does not apply to consolation draw).

Room #218 in the hotel is available to players during the tournament. This room is near Jack's lounge. You may hang out in this room and you may bring in food and beverages.
Food and beverages brought in are not allowed at the tournament site.
No alcohol is allowed at the YMCA

There will be a drawing in which one lucky player will win a two night stay at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. The winner will be announced at the BOB BASH.

PLEASE NOTE: We thank the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa for hosting this special tournament, and as a courtesy we are asking that no outside food or beverage be brought to the tournament level. There will be a viewing room where food and beverages purchased at the resort can be enjoyed.
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY
The BOB is an adult tournament and players must be 18 years of age by December 31, 2017, to participate and register online. High school seniors who will not turn 18 in 2017 may be able to participate if there is room - please contact Lisa Seymou for consideration.
All eligible participants are asked to register online by the tournament deadline (FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17).
USTA membership is not required, but you do need to have a membership number or an account number to register online. If you do not have a USTA membership, please click on the following link (more info) to create and account and get a USTA account number. This Scholarship Tournament at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa
should be very competitive and fun. The BOB BASH will feature DJ
Mikey so come prepared for a fun time on the dance floor.
$60 per player per event. Maximum # events a player may play is 2
(one gender event and/or one mixed event).. Maximum charge per
player is $120. Looking forward to seeing you at the 2017 BOB.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, February 17, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time.
