Player selection is determined based off of the USTA/Midwest Quota system. Please use the following link for more details about the player selection process.


32 players will be seeded in each singles draw. The top 16 seeds will be done using Universal Tennis Rating (UTR). The remaining 16 seeds will be based on the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standings list. more info

If you do not provide an email address and/or cell number(s) when you register for this tournament, then we will not be able to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

No refunds after player selections.

Singles 128 FIC draw. The Singles Draw will play best 3 tiebreak sets.
In the FIC draw we will not play out the semis and finals.


Doubles 64 single elimination.The Doubles Draw will be an 8 game pro set with a 10 point tiebreak played at 8 game all up to the semis. The Doubles Semis and Finals will be two out of three sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker in lieu of the third set.

Wednesday, 2 Singles Main Draw, 2 Singles FIC

Thursday, Finals and 3/4 Playoffs of Main, 2 Singles FIC

If you do not make the tournament but are in the TOP 10 alternates you can be considered an on site alternate. I will continue to update the Alternate list daily so I will always have 10 alternates if available per age division.
If you choose to come off the alternate list to enter another tournament you must email the tournament director at: selke.sue@courtone.com and let me know.
Anyone not sending an email and is enrolled in another tournament (after that tournament selections have been made for that event) will be subject to suspension points.

After Friday at 12:00 noon, June 23rd I will no longer call alternates on the list and I will only use those players that chose to be on site for the tournament.
1). Send an email to selke.sue@courtone.com. that you will coming as a stand by alternate.
2). If you are going to the Friday night early check in at Court One Athletic Clubs, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864 when you come in please Check in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke, only so I know you are in town, need age group, a cell phone number and where you are staying.
3). If you cannot check in on Friday night you will need to be at Court One Athletic Clubs , 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864 at 7:30 am, Saturday, June 24th to check in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke.
4). All Stand by alternates will meet at 7:30 am at the club and we will wait at the club until the first round of play is on court for your age group.
5). It will be the order of alternates that have check in according to the updated alternate list.
6). If you wait and do not get into the singles draw and there are still opening in the age division doubles group you were an alternate for you will have an opportunity to play doubles and can be inserted into the draw but the tournament will not put partners together so you will need to know who you are playing with. Once the doubles draw begins there will be no more teams inserted into the doubles draw.

The doubles draws will be 64 team single elimination draws.
The deadline to sign up for doubles is Thursday, JUNE 22 at NOON ET. If both players did not enter with their partner online before the singles deadline, BOTH players MUST email the Midwest Office at jrtourney@midwest.usta.com with your team's names, gender, age division, and cell phone # to be entered into the doubles draw.
If you wish to be paired with a partner at random, please mention that in your email and we will put you on a list with other players who want to be paired in your age division.
Please do not contact the tournament director for entry into the doubles draws, as this will be handled solely by the Midwest Office.

Doubles times will be given out on Saturday at your singles site after your singles match has been played.

There will be 2 rounds of Doubles on Saturday and 2 rounds of Doubles on Sunday.
Doubles rounds through the quarterfinals will be an 8 game pro set with a 10 point tiebreaker played at 8 games all.


Doubles scoring for the Semis and Finals will two out of three tiebreak sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker played in lieu of the third set.

CHECK IN FRIDAY, JUNE 23rd is available!
Optional Check in will be Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. eastern standard time. Players will be able to pick up their t-shirt , at Court One East, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, MI 48864 (517) 349-1199.
If you cannot make the earlier check in at the club on Friday evening then you will need to report to your playing site 15 minutes prior to your first match time.
After your first match or any time between 9am - 6 pm Saturday or Sunday or Monday. Tuesday 9am - 12 noon you can stop by Court One Athletic Club, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864 to pick up your tournament T-Shirt as they are being printed on site at the club to assure the right fit and an opportunity to up-grade your shirt at an additional cost. After 12:00 noon on Tuesday, T-shirts will no longer be available and we do not ship t-shirts.

IF YOU DID NOT CHECK IN ON FRIDAY, JUNE 23rd then GO DIRECTLY to your SITE at your scheduled time on Saturday. Please arrive 15 minutes early to your site.
Your t-shirt will be at the Court One Athletic Club - East Club, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864. The hours are 9am - 6pm Saturday - Monday and Tuesday, up until 12:00 noon EST. The t-shirts are being printed on site at the club. After Tuesday, 12:00 EST the t-shirt will no longer be available. No t-shirts will be shipped.

Saturday, all players are asked to report 15 minutes prior to their first round match time at the site of their first match time.

You must park in the parking lot by the school and walk over to the tennis courts. If you park by the courts they will have the police come over and ticket those cars. It also makes it harder for the tournament to use the courts in the future when they are resurfaced as we did not follow their guidelines. Thank you again for your cooperation.

The only video tapping allowed will be through TENNIS ANALYTICS which the USTA/Midwest section has authorized for this tournament. I will post what sites will have this opportunity when I receive the information. Not all sites will be covered as we have 10 sites and 90 courts being used at the beginning of the tournament for the first three days.

Tennis Analytics will be filming all matches at this year’s event. Your tagged match footage, along with a detailed match stats report, is available for a nominal fee. Tagged match footage allows you to search, filter and view specific moments in any match from any web-enabled device. Match video is posted to your own personal online collection which you can share with your personal coach, family or friends. Players can only order their own matches. STRINGING
Tournament stringing will be available. Racquets can be dropped off and pick up at Court One Athletic Club, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864. The stringing fee is $17.00 if own string is provided and prices vary based on sting if Court One provides the string,

The Deity Rule will be in effect for this tournament.
Deity Rule - Players outburst with reference to a deity (God, Jesus, Allah, etc.) with or without cursing shall be coded if their words have been heard by parents, spectators.
