Due to extension of rain in forcast for morning, the following will will occur.


Harlem 8:00 AM Doubles will be inside at FCTC (7801 East State Street, Rockford IL 61108) at 8:00 AM.
Belvidere North Doubles will be inside at FCTC at 8:45 AM.


The club will be open at 7:00 AM for free warmup courts untill 8 AM on a first come, first serve, 4 tournament players per court basis.


All singles matches for the remainder of the day will be at outdoor locations (unless further update due to rain) and are pushed back 1 hour.


Second round of doubles originally scheduled for 5:00 PM will now be 6:00 PM.

4 Practice courts Friday and all days of the event are available at Harlem Middle School (735 Windsor Rd Loves Park ,IL 61111).
2 practice courts are available Friday and all days of the event at the Guilford Road tennis courts (5800 Guilford Rd, this is a small community park, not to be confused with the 14 court Guilford Tennis Center).


Harlem HS will be open for practice courts Friday 2:00-Dusk.


FCTC Friday-Tuesday has courts available at $10/player/hour.

Saturday and Sunday 7:00-8:00 AM warm up courts are available at Harlem and Belvidere North.

Sunday Belvidere HS (not north) will have warmup courts available through the day.

Note: Please pay close attention to the abbreviation of the sites while reading the future match info and the draw, especially the Belvidere North High School / BNHS and Belvidere High School / BHS.

The tournament will be played at 4 outdoor sites and (if necessary) 1 indoor site.

Jefferson High School "JHS"5254 35th Street, Rockford, IL South side of high school. (For JHS take Bonanza Way off of 35th street).
Harlem High School "HHS" 1 Huskie Cir, Machesney Park, IL Northwest side of high school.
Belvidere North High School "BNHS" 9399 Beloit Road, Belvidere, IL. Right hand turn on Squaw Prarie Road.Northeast side of high school.
Belvidere High School "BHS" 1500 East Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008

Indoor:
Forest City Tennis Center 7801 E. State Street, Rockford, IL (south east side of resort)

Stringing will be available on a first come first serve basis at the Forest City Tennis Center (7801 E. State Street Rockford IL 61108) .
Saturday and Sunday rackets can be dropped off from 8:00 AM-noon and then from 3:00-7:00 PM. Club phone is 815-708-0901.Any rackets dropped off after 6:30 pm will available for pick-up next morning. The club will open at 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Due to the limited selection of string FCTC has, please bring your own string if you have strong string preferences. Stringing price: $21 with your own string; $21 + String with string from FCTC

Order of play is subject to change.

SATURDAY: Play begins at 8:00 am. Doubles Round of 32 (as round of 64 all byes). Singles main draw Rd of 128 and Rd of 64 followed by the Consolation Qualifying Rd of 64 FIC. Round of 16 Doubles to follow.


SUNDAY: Play begins at 8:00 am. Main Draw plays Rd of 32 and Rd of 16. FIC will play the Rd of 64 FIC, Qualifying Rd of 32 and Rd of 32. No doubles on Sunday.

MONDAY: Play begins at 10:00 am. Singles will play Main Draw Quarters and Semi-Finals. FIC will play the Qualifying Rd of 16 FIC and Rd of 16 FIC. Doubles will play Quarterfinal and Semifinal.

TUESDAY: Play begins as early as 8:00 am. Doubles Final and Main Draw singles will play the Finals and 3/4 Playoff. FIC will play Qualifying Quarters and Quarters. FIC stops at the Semi- Finals.

The Singles Main Draw will play best 3 tiebreak sets. The Singles Consolation Draw will play best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point super tiebreak in lieu of a third set. 64 FIC draw.

Use the USTA tennislink enrollment function prior to the online enrollment deadline (7/13/2017) to sign up for/withdraw from/or claim a doubles partner even if you do not currently have a doubles partner.


After 7/13, you may update your doubles partner or withdraw from doubles by emailing tournament@forestcitytennis.com until Monday July 17th 1:00 PM. All players remaining enrolled in doubles at that time that do not have a partner specified will be randomly matched with a partner. Do not remain enrolled in doubles without a partner after July 17th if you are unwilling to be matched randomly with a partner.


We will not accept doubles enrollments or partner updates after July 17th.


We will not contact prospective doubles partners on your behalf. Please make use of social media and electronic communication to request a player partner with you.

If you do not provide an email address and/or cell number(s) when you register for this tournament, then we will not be able to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

This tournament carries with it Level 2 USTA/Midwest points per round and Level 4 USTA National Singles points and Level 3 USTA National Doubles points per round. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link: more info

1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay for the tournament. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selections.

This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:
1 - 88 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament
2 - 40 Players based on UTR
Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order:
1 - Top 16 seeds based on UTR
2- Seeds 17-32 based on USTA/Midwest Standings List
