SCHEDULING CONFLICTS & DAYS OF PLAY
Sorry, this tournament is played in 3 days and do not take requests regarding
scheduling times. ALL PLAYERS ENTERING THIS TOURNAMENT MUST PLAY ACCORDING TO
OUR SCHEDULE AND NEED TO LEAVE ALL THREE DAYS FREE (FROM 12 NOON ON FRIDAY TO THE
CONCLUSION OF THE TOURNAMENT ON SUNDAY). The scheduling of matches and dates played is predicated on
the number of players in the event, and until entries close we cannot determine
when matches will be held (read below for an estimate). Therefore, we do not
accept requests for time problems. The largest draws will most likely start
first with some draws having the potential of two matches played in one day
(draws with more than 16 players or teams). Below is a likely scheduling
planner based on the number of participants in their event: 17-32 players -
Number of rounds = 5. 1st & 2nd rounds will be played on Friday, July 21 (draws of this size will most likely have two rounds of play on Friday with matches
starting early). With 9-16 players - Number of rounds = 4. 1st round of play will start on Friday, July 21 and possibly the second round as well.
Divisions with 5-8 players – Number of rounds = 3. 1st round of play will begin on July 21st or 22nd. Divisions with 3-4 players - Number of rounds = 2 will start of July 22nd or July 23rd. All Finals and a number of semi final matches will be held
on Sunday, July 23 (barring rain). The actual days of play may or may not be reflected by the provided example.
WITHDRAWING OR MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR ENTRY
If entries have not yet closed, a player may
withdraw or make changes to their entry by going to the tournament's USTA
TennisLink Home Page - the page above. Once in the system, go to the "Edit
Registration" on the right hand side of the screen. Select the option that
you wish to perform (withdraw, change partner, etc.) You will need your
confirmation number from your original registration to withdraw. Once you
withdraw, you can re-register if you wish to change your event(s) or
partner(s). If you cannot locate your confirmation number, you will need to
contact firstname.lastname@example.org or the tournament director. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE
REFUNDED AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE, OR DUE TO RAIN. We recommend that an
alternate be substituted in place of a doubles partner if someone cannot attend. Please
note that any substitution(s) must be cleared by the tournament director if the
seeding has been completed.
