B12, B14, B18 DRAWS
The B12, B14 and B18 draws have been revised since they were posted this morning. There was an error in seeding in each of these events. USTA regulations require that the draws be remade when an error is discovered.

HOW IS SEEDING DETERMINED?
The seeding for doubles is based on the current Champ rankings (not points) in each age group. The ranking of both players were combined to create a team ranking. For example, if one player is ranked #4 and another player is ranked #28, their combined ranking is 32. Teams are placed in order based on this combined ranking. The lower the total ranking, the higher the seeding.

STRINGING
There is a pro shop in the trailer. We will have a stringer on site during the tournament.
PARTNERS/PAIRING UP PLAYERS
If you wish to play with a specific partner BOTH players must indicate their partner prior to the entry deadline. If only one player indicates a partner, but not the other, the pairing will not be made. This is done to prevent one player from choosing a partner without that player's permission. To indicate a partner after you have entered the tournament, go back to your confirmation email. Return to your registration information and use the "edit" function to add your partner's name. Players who are not paired up at the entry deadline will be paired up with another available player in the order of their current rankings.
REQUALIFICATION RULES-CMZ
Super Champ players looking to re-qualify can do so my singing up for one of the singles CMZs or the Doubles CMZ, but cannot play in the singles division of the Super Champ Level 4 in May in addition to a CMZ.
DOUBLES CMZ TIMELINE
The entry deadline for the CMZ Doubles is Sunday, May 14th at midnight. Players who qualify in the Singles CMZ earlier in May should withdraw from this tournament prior to the deadline as they will not be eligible to play. Players will have a 24 hour grace period after entries have closed to contact the tournament director with any errors in their doubles registration. After that 24 hour grace period, if both players are not registered with each other, then they will become individually registered doubles players. They will be paired with another individually registered player based on their order in the current Standings list, if a player is available.
DRAWS POSTED WEDNESDAY, MAY 17
Since the entry deadline is now Sunday, May 13, the draws will not be posted until Wednesday, May 17.
DOUBLES REGISTRATION
An important change to note is the correct way to register for doubles online, which is used in the CMZ Doubles for 2017. Players may register with or without a partner. If you register with a partner MUST indicate their partner through the online registration system before the entry deadline. Both player need to correctly identify their doubles partner during either their initial process, or by going back to the home page of the tournament after registration, prior to the entry deadline and use "Edit Registration" to "Indicate Doubles Partner" link to indicate the partner of their choice. Correct doubles registration is the player's responsibility. Immediately after registering, player need to check the Applicant List to ensure that they are registered with their partner of choice (and check to see that their partner is also registered with them.) Please email the tournament director for assistance if necessary.
PLAYING SINGLES AND DOUBLES CMZ
CMZ players may play in both the singles and doubles CMZ within the same month. Players who qualify for Champs during the May Challengers WILL NOT be eligible to compete in the May CMZ Doubles. Players who qualify for Supers in the May Singles CMZ ARE NOT eligible to play in the CMZ Doubles and should withdraw prior to the entry deadline. Players who qualify in May cannot play at the next level until June.
First-off Consolation – All Challengers and CMZs use the First Off Consolation Format. This format will show as Single Elimination on the tournament homepage, but all players are guaranteed two matches. This format eliminates “maybe matches” and almost every player in consolation will play their first consolation match on Saturday. How does it work? Players that lose in the main draw will be fed into the consolation draw in the order that they come off the court (i.e. the first player to come off the court will go on line one, the sixth player to come off the court will go on line six). This new format ensures more players playing on Saturday and an overall better tournament.
Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.
USTA Texas "No Late Entries" Policy for Juniors Due to a new USTA Texas internal procedure, junior division players will NOT be able to register for a tournament after the online published deadline. We are aware that currently parents reach out via email or phone to the USTA Texas staff and/or tournament director requesting to be manually added to the tournament after online registration has closed. If a player misses the registration deadline, then he/she will not be permitted to participate in that tournament
Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 14, 2017 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
