SCORONG FORMAT FOR MONDAY
BG12s-BG18s of the main draw will play a full third set if they split sets. The consolation will play a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a full third set.

ON-SITE STRINGER
Stringers will be available at the main site (JDS). Racquets can be dropped off Friday evening until 7pm. Pick-up and drop-off each day of the tournament will be between 7am-7pm. Payment must be made at the time of drop-off.

WARM-UP COURTS
The facility will open at 7AM. Courts will be available until 745am to warm-up. After that time, there will not be any official warm-up courts at JDS.

NEW FOR 2017 10 & UNDER YOUTH TENNIS PROGRESSION LEVELS
The 10U division will be Green Level 1 within the new Youth Progression system parameters. Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls and up to 29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of TWO short sets - Ad Scoring (first to four (4) games and win by two e.g 4-0, 4-1 4-2, or 5-3), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.

10U Orange Level 1 Standings Points
For standings purposes, the Orange Level 1 10U Division will receive GA Level 4 points and STA Level 5 points.

CONSOLATION ROUND-SPLIT SETS INFO
Consolation Round - When using a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of the full 3rd set, there will be a mandatory 3 minute break. An official must be notified at this time. Coaching is allowed during this time. If the 3 minutes expires and player has not returned to court, the match is over.

TROPHIES
Trophies will be given to 1st-4th of the main draw, and 1st and 2nd of the consolation draw.

THIS TOURNAMENT WILL RECEIVE GA LEVEL 2 POINTS (SOUTHERN LEVEL 4
POINTS) FOR BG 10-18.(BG10U ORANGE will play on the 60' court with
low compression balls and racquets no larger than 25') Limit 32
draw. FIC with a 3/4 playoff in the main draw. Online registration
at usta.com. Player Gift to all participants. Additional sites may
be used. Match times and tournament information can be accessed
online by 2/16. Awards to winner, finalist, consolation winner and
consolation finalist of each event that has six or more players.
Scoring format: Main draw for BG12-18 - 2 out of 3 sets with
regular scoring; 3rd set tiebreaker in lieu of full third set in
consolation draw. BG10 - short scoring with 3rd set match
tie-break. Scoring may be changed due to inclement weather. A round
robin will be conducted if only 3-5 players in event. - Open to all
players regardless of ranking. REFUND POLICY: Entry fees will be
refunded ONLY if requests for refunds are received in writing
(email to the TD or referee PRIOR to deadline). No refunds will be
issued for any reason after deadline date. If there are weather
issues and no matches are played, then you will get a 3/4 credit to
another Middle GA Tennis tournament. If there are weather issues
and you only play one match, then you will get a 1/2 credit to
another Middle GA Tennis tournament. Seedings will use the most
current Southern standing list at time of selecting seeds. Please

Counting Points Up effective Jan. 1, 2017
To align with USTA National and Southern, USTA Georgia Junior
Competition Committee has approved an amendment that will affect
how Georgia standings will be calculated. Beginning January 1,
2017, the singles and doubles results for each player earned in a
division for the previous 12-month period shall be counted as
results in the next-older division at 20%. As such, players will no
longer be considered for selection based on their lower age
division standings. A description of this new amendment may be
found on the USTA Southern website at:

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 1-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.

GA Level 5 (Satellite, 1-Day, 4-Hr Shootouts) - Orange Level 2; 12U Green tagged for Progression Winner/Finalist Trophies only (no participation stars).
GA Level 4 (Championship) - Orange Level 1; 12U Green tagged for Progression Winner/Finalist trophies only (no participation stars).
GA Level 1, 2, & 3 (State Chps & Super Chps) - Green Level 1; the option of also offering Orange Level 1 (court availability permitting).

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 13, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
